ACTIVATE INTELLECTUAL CHECKMATE!!! Okay. The cake is a lie, because GlaDOS never intended for Chell to have the cake in the first place. And since Chell never got the cake, even after GlaDOS said cake would be served, GlaDOS lied. Perhaps the cake was only in the warehouse by coincidence, or it materialized out of thin air to make the game somewhat more cake-themed? Either way, the cake was only in the final cutscene, and since you never had the chance to eat the cake in the first place, the cake is a lie. While cake is delicious, it is a lie. I have a question though: HaB j00 TAiST3D T3h BL4ST Y3T!? |
