Holy hell, it's been a long time since I've seen you, Freak. Unfortunately C4E has kind of disbanded. A few of us still play together quite often on Xbox Live, but there's no real PC gaming division anymore. I mainly play with Typhus and Kenshin. I have no idea what happened to the Starcraft crew after the main site went down. I'm sure they're still around, but they haven't registered for this site yet, so it's hard to say. Same with Viper, he's been MIA since the site dropped too.

What in the world are you up to nowadays anyways?

If it would help, and you can get ahlold of Victim, (did he host the site before?) I have space on a server that the guild can use.

C4E is too cool a guild to disband!

I have been playing Mafia Wars. Ever tried it? It is pretty good, but the mafias/clans/guilds are poor, at least as far as I have had experience with them.

Freak out

Well it seems I spoke too soon. I just got an email from Victim today saying he's working on a new site that will be up soon, hopefully. Victim is actually registered for this site, you know. Just send him a private message, or post something to him on these boards. I can send him a message over Xbox Live if he doesn't check it soon.

Otherwise, his email is clickmatch@gmail.com.

Also Freak, here is the email he sent me, since you may be interested in this.

"Yea, I didn't die. Or just go away. Can't shake me that easy. I'm sure a lot of these mails will be bounced, but whomever it gets to, it's all good.

Likely story, but I'm working on it.

The site went down when we got cross site scripting hacked. I had been working on a new guild site back in 2007, and I have resumed working on it after about a 2 year hiatus. I will be bringing the new system online within the next couple of months assuming I can get the time to work on it. I will create initial users based on your original accounts, or perhaps just send you there to register, which might be easier in the long run.

So thank you for being patient. In classic style our guild will be resurrected as a Diablo III guild to start. Once you see how the site is laid out you will start to see that we'll probably delve away from the central hub or "universe" idea, and be more separate guilds. I have already thought about how I can make a hub site a "feature", so you never know. Initially I have most core functions in place, and am starting to work on the "Recruitment" core, which includes apps, voting, reports and an approval queue. Then it's on to rosters then forums. But if enough of you are hanging around waiting to get in, I might go straight to the forums (and not pass go, nor collect $200) and get you guys back into the daily swing.

Anyways, the site is a new infrastructure built on asp.net and will eventually be much better than our original site. At my last check it has 74 tables and 508 stored procedures. It's quite a lofty project.

I hope you'll join me. In the meantime please respond if you're still around and interested, and I'll get an email group going so I can keep you updated.

Hope to chat with you all soon. This is my official email address now, btw."

So yeah, hopefully things are looking up. I just gotta get a better computer. Mine got fried from a lightning storm awhile ago and I don't have the money for a new one. I had it repaired with entirely new parts, but it just hasn't been the same since. Either way, I still do a little PC gaming, but almost all of my gaming is now console. Although when Victim gets that site up and C4E officially returns as a PC gaming guild, I will probably start my PC gaming again. Especially with Diablo III.

It is a free game on Facebook. Kind of addictive... worth checking out..

What is the story (sorry, I have been out of it for a while) about Starcraft and Starcraft 2?

Ah, I don't have a Facebook. Guess that's why I haven't heard of that game. Starcraft still has some C4E members that play it. I think PoltryGeist still plays, as does Da Annihilator, but neither has signed up for this site, so it's hard to say. Starcraft II is a go, but I don't like how they're doing it. Instead of one game, they're breaking it up into 3 games, one for each race. I'm not sure if this means that you can only play multiplayer as that race, but it's got me double thinking about buying it. Diablo III I will end up picking up though. My computer should be advanced enough to run it.
