Germany - TTW reporters were able to get an inside look at a UN prisoner of war camp located near Berlin. We were able to interview a prisoner, and were shocked to see a familiar face, former Assault Rifleman Kapral Muntzer.
TTW - So Kapral, a lot has happened since we last saw each other. Mind telling us how you managed to end up here in camp?
Muntzer - We were attacking Lomza. We had been beaten back in our 2 previous attacks so our morale was lowered, but we kept on. It had been close fighting in Lomza when our company commander Kapitan Bang ordered me and a few others to penetrate the enemy's rear flank. We had just setup when we received fire at our 6 O'clock; I was wounded in the lower back, but my other men were killed. I was taken prisoner, and some time in the night flown here.

Intense battles were characterized by stiff resistance as neither side forfeited ground; all cities were successfully defended in Turn 3. On Thursday, Peacekeeper forces kept aggressors at bay with strong numbers. On Sunday, Aggressor forces, reinvigorated with new leadership, showed exceptional resilience and won two out of three missions.
Desert Glory received its first play as a Breaking Point map during Mission 1 with the Domination game type. First impressions of Desert Glory are positive; the map favors mid to long range weapons and requires coordinated maneuver. Desert Glory's open space and extreme terrain relief should yield some interesting Search and Destroy play, expect to see more of this map in coming weeks/tours.

Intense battles were characterized by stiff resistance as neither side forfeited ground; all cities were successfully defended in Turn 3. On Thursday, Peacekeeper forces kept aggressors at bay with strong numbers. On Sunday, Aggressor forces, reinvigorated with new leadership, showed exceptional resilience and won two out of three missions.

Essen, Germany - For three weeks now, Germany has been locked in a fierce fight against its Polish neighbors in a war, part of the greater conflict between the super-alliances, the BF and the UN. Some of the toughest battles have been fought in Germany, and every week major battles happen here. In Munich, constant artillery, air, and armored strikes are shattering the once revered architecture. The KSK have started to use an old term to describe the battles: Rottenkrieg. The world made famous in WWII for the house-to-house fighting in Stalingrad is now used in the Little Stalingrad of Germany.
The GROM's initial attack into Germany from the south, through the alps via Italian railways, struck into the heart of Germany's Bavarian province, its capital of Munich. Jacc's contributions during Turn 2 aided in the Peacekeepers's domination. Jacc did all of the little things right by following orders and patiently waiting in line for Sniper duty. It was in the role of Sniper that Jacc proved to be exceptional on both the POW Camp and DHC Carentan Maps. During play on the DHC Carentan map, Jacc's precision was awarded with three helicopters and two air strikes. All of this additional firepower was flawlessly directed by Jacc which kept the Peacekeepers in the fight against the pressing Aggressors.

Goods that are ported in Mediterranean cities travel by rail and truck around the Swiss Alps through Austria to Munich. Peacekeepers made good use of their bids to attack Aggressor strong-points in Romania, Germany and Italy and showed off their muscle by capturing 4 cities in Turn 2. For the second consecutive turn, PeaceKeepers have pounded away at outnumbered Aggressor forces. Led by long time BP veteran Johnson, Peacekeepers have set the tone for conflict in the Proxy Ear.
Despite being overwhelming outnumbered at times, the Aggressors fought tooth and nail and NEVER gave up. Sunday's battles were particularly telling as Bang's company of Elite Polish Warfighters kept the pressure on the Peacekeepers all day. Gradually, the Aggressor ranks received much needed reinforcement. Aggressors pulled one out of their sleeve and disrupted what was shaping up to be a Peacekeeper sweep as the last mission ended a stalemate.

London, England - TTW will have reporters embedded with GROM soldiers currently deployed on the front lines of an intensifying war in Europe. Over the next several weeks, we will tell the story of this war through their personal accounts and the tense environment we have asked our reporters to endure.
Meet Kapral (Lance Corporal) Hillebrand Muntzer. Muntzer was drafted into the Polish Army 3 years ago and was picked up by the the elite GROM in January of this year. Muntzer is an assault rifleman and tactical radio operator in 2nd Platoon in the undisclosed company lead by the tactically renowned Kapitan "Bang." Prior to being drafted, Muntzer was preparing to move to Warsaw from his home in Radom to participate in a state-governed plumbing apprenticeship.
We took a few minutes to speak with Muntzer while he and the other soldiers of 2nd Platoon took a short break from preparing defenses in Cologne Germany.
