1 war... 2 armies... 24 hours... Only you can make a difference!

Three years after the conflict in Chernarus, portrayed in the original Arma II,
a new flashpoint in the Green Sea region heats up and coalition forces led by the US Army
are sent to Takistan to quickly restore peace and prevent further civilian casualties.




Players will enlist into various roles within the US Army, from basic infantrymen, through special operatives, to pilots and tank crew
in this new installment of the award winning line up of military simulators for PC from Bohemia Interactive.




Theater of war is known, objectives are set, but it is down to the brave soldiers in the field to make a difference.
Players will face some fierce battles and tough choices in this new conflict, coming to your PC in 2010.

Takistan: 160 square km of Central Asia modeled with extreme precision using real world data
Zargabad: 70 square km of extremely realistic environment including full areas of dense urban CQB conflicts.

ARMA II WARFARE MODE
Improved large scale multiplayer experience with elements of real time strategy gameplay.

STANDALONE RELEASE
Operation Arrowhead does not require the original ARMA II.

Looks superb, lets hope there are some proper insurgents to fight against rathern than mock Russian forces. Looking forward to some CQB work in the smaller map, thats what was missing from ArmA II some great urban fighting. Also looking forward to the Bradley and hope that they have included some technicals to face up against in the CQB situations.

I think that this should not be a stand-alone, but you should need ArmA2.
I think those vehicles should be in ArmA2...

enough said, I will most certanly buy this game also...

I bet there's some people who make arrowhead same as "ArmA1" CAA1 mod, so you can play arrowhead maps with ArmA2. I wait more information about arrowhead before consider buying it.

All vechiles can also extract to ArmA2...

I'm buying this for sure - Arma2 is fantastic in COOP but slightly lacking in cqb content and this will fill that void.

Can't wait.

Looking forward to the CQB, Littlebird and Chinook. Those two choppers are some of the most modded
