Today I will be review Castlevania Dracula X for the Super Nintendo.
Also note there will be Spoilers for people who haven't played the game.
I'm going to start off what the Castlevania series is about.
In the Country of Romania, in the town of Transylvania, the home of Dracula Vlad Tepes.
Right after Vlad and his fiancee Lisa have gotten married witch hunters have kidnapped Lisa as thinking she is a Witch!
Before Vlad could save her it was too late, Lisa was burned to death.Filled with rage Vlad discovered a hidden power within himself making him to Count Dracula!
Seeking revenge for the death of his Wife Lisa, He haunts the land of Transylvania with his Minions and the help of his partner, Death.
But unlucky for Dracula there is a family of Vampire hunter named the Belmont's that will do what it takes to destroy him.
But Dracula also has a trick up his sleeve, the Castle that appears only every century, Castlevania. Said only Dracula is the ''Lord of the Castle'' and thous can never really be destroyed but as the Belmont clan family tree gets bigger so does Dracula's strength.
As the Belmonts wield the only weapon to defeat Dracula the ''Vampire Killer'' The holy Whip that is to destroy vampires as long as needed.
Game Review for Castlevania Dracula X (SNES)
First off this game is really good even if the 'real' version was for the PC-engine only released in Japan.
For the SNES at the time Castlevania games had some of the best music like

Good use of the Sony sound chip.
PLOT:
I will taking the Plot from the original DraculaX Rondo of Blood as the SNES versions script is not the same to the Japanese version
After being defeated 2 times by the Belmont clan, 96 years later the evil Preist Shaft, Resurects Dracula and sends his evil minions to the town of Transylvania and burns it to the ground.
Richter Belmont the main character in the game catches drift of what has happened and sets out with the help of Maria Relnard to stop Dracula with the Vampire Killer.
Gameplay:
Like any other Castlevania game you set out at different stages (normally 7 or till you reach Dracula's throne room and have the final battle.
You get sub-weapons like a Axe, Dagger, Holywater and a Cross....but in this version Richter has a ultimate attack called Hydro Storm.
SCORE
Graphics-6/10-The graphics aren't really as good as Super Castlevania IV and that came out before Dracula X
Music-9/10-The music for the SNES version is way better the the PC-Engine version and its really nice music something that you expect from a Castlevania game
Controls-8-10-The controls are the same as always
Plot-8-10-The plot continues as the 3ed Belmont defeats Dracula...
Overall score-7-10
The game has awesome music but the Plot and the Levels are alterd from the original PC-Engine version.
Next review will be it's sequel Castlevania Symphony of the Night.
