7th Empire was created in the fall of the year 2003. There were three people that founded the clan. Those three people were FaZe, Felix, and DarkKnight. The idea of creating 7th Empire was thought of by FaZe, the details of it's creation were planned out by FaZe and DarkKnight collectively, 7th Empire's first web site was created by Felix. The web site's construction took a week to do. On August 17 2003, FaZe, DarkKnight, and Felix opened 7th Empire's web site and the clan was born with FaZe, DarkKnight, and Felix as the three leaders.

FaZe paid for the web site and all the servers, while Felix did all the server/web site work and led the battle.net portion of the clan. DarkKnight led the Counter Strike division. The recruiting of the clan was done by Felix and DarkKnight. Together FaZe, DarkKnight, and Felix divised 7th Empire's inner structure and policies. Under this leadership, 7th Empire had a steady yet slow member increase.
