Despite the loss of interest of some members, despite the failure of some members to answer the call of unity in the time of need.
Despite all this, we are continuing.
As proven in the past: we're an open-minded community, we can adapt to change, suggestions and improvements by and from our members.
We welcome all 508th members -past and present- as brothers in arms and we wish to remain in good connection with them for that we hope that this may only be a temporary break in our unity.
In the hope that we may be the Fury From the Sky once more.
For the 508th, for what it once was, for what it is and for what it hopefully will become.

Armour is only for assigned to 4th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment (4TH/73CR) personnel.

So, I am making a mission for this month's ArmA 2 day. This is the topic in which you sign up and read the briefing. The operation is scheduled for the 29th of May (this Sunday) at 19:00 GMT (i.e. British time).
Briefing
Operational Objectives:
Objective Abel - destroy the energy generator with satchels
Objective Baker - clear the designated town and wait for USMC reinforcements
Operational Briefing:
The operation will begin at approximately 21:00 local time, or 19:00 Zulu time. Before that Angels 1 and 2 will fly in a holding pattern above the fleet, until the operation is given a green light.
Once the green light has been given, Angels will fly over DZ Kapa, where you will be inserted. Once there you will regroup and move east towards objective Abel. Expect more enemy combatants to arrive from a village north-east of Abel once you have begun your assault.
Once the generator is destroyed, you will break engagement and move...
