XFIRE™ DOUBLES ADVERTISERS IN Q2 ADDING MARQUEE ACCOUNTS

Xfire Platform Enables Advertisers to Reach Young, Male Audience

San Francisco, CA – July 28, 2005 - Xfire, Inc., the fastest growing online gaming platform and community, today announced at the Advertising in Games West Forum that it has doubled its number of advertisers from Q1 to Q2. New advertisers, including Unilever, Fox Studios, and Universal Studios, are using Xfire’s platform as a powerful way to reach the 18-34 year old male audience which represent the majority of online gamers. The average user runs Xfire for over 70 hours per month.

“We are delighted that so many outstanding companies are embracing Xfire as a means to reach their target audience,” said Mike Cassidy, CEO of Xfire. “Xfire has nearly 2 million registered users now. We are adding over 150,000 new users and over one million new friendship relationships each month.”

Xfire places ads directly into its PC applet, and the ads change every few minutes. Advertisers can also create a customized skin which is wrapped around the Xfire applet. These fun skins can display the advertiser’s brand and messaging to Xfire users for hours at a time.

“AXE, the world’s top grooming brand for guys, is always looking for new and innovative ways to reach 18-24 year old guys,” said Kevin George, marketing director, anti-perspirants and deodorants, Unilever. “Our award winning marketing is a direct result of our decision to work with brands like Xfire which has also demonstrated great success in the market.”

The Xfire campaign for AXE will promote the brand’s Mojo Master game (the “first virtual fantasy game of seduction” found at mojomastergame.com), download trailers from the Evan and Gareth video journal on EvanandGareth.com to Xfire users, and display a series of banner ads in the Xfire applet and on the Xfire website.

Xfire currently supports over 400 game titles, including: America's Army: Special Forces, Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike, Dark Age of Camelot, Dark Age of Camelot – Shrouded Isles, Diablo, Diablo II, DOOM 3, Dungeon Siege, EverQuest, Final Fantasy XI, Halo, Lineage, Lineage II, Medal of Honor Allied Assault, Meridian 59, Neverwinter Nights, PlanetSide, Quake, Quake III Arena, Starcraft, The Temple of Elemental Evil, Unreal Tournament, Unreal Tournament 2003, Unreal Tournament 2004, Warcraft III, Wolfenstein – Enemy Territory, World of Warcraft, XEvil, and many more.
