Question: Okay I guess I start what are your plans to futher develop PurePwnage ?
Anwser: geoff: we've always got plenty of plans in the works - more episodes of course, more screenings. There are still plenty of gamers out there and noobs that need to be de-noobified :)
Question: {BFL} DarthFous: How much of the show is scripted and how much do you make up on the spot?
Anwser: Geoff: we usually script what we call a "skeleton script" which leave a lot of room for improv. In fact, let me show you the ep14 skeleton script :) I hope the web cam is low res enough hehe. Check out the video feed.
Question: Will Jeremy ever play an RPG like GTA?
Anwser: Jarett: we won't answer questions about future episode content :)

Question: -:KSA:- skykid88: i saw a documentary with you and geoff being interviewed, you said that you met dave through playing super smash bros melee. who won the first match between you two? And what is dave's favorite smash character?
Anwser: Jarett: Dave's fav char is Ness :) he plays a lot of Preach though :) Dave took match #1.. but I took match 2 through 3856527 ;)
Question: Mav: With the addition of actor Bill Merchant as "The Big Bad", who is somewhat well known for his role on Stargate SG-1, are there any plans for future episodes to include other possibly known actors?
Anwser: Jarett: we're always excited to work with established professionals.. but i can neither confirm nor deny that there will be any more in PP ;)
Question: Jolt: teh_pwnerer, as a RTS gamer, what do you think about Blizzard's recent announced project: Starcraft 2?
Anwser: Jarett: well, we had a celebratory BBQ the next day ;).. that should say enough
Jarett: con't: I waited up for the announcement that friday night.. i was giddy like a schoolboy.. i am very excited for starcraft 2, i have a lot of confidence in Blizzard
Question: |95th| Roper: Why did you choose a more "fatasy" element later on in season one instead of making it as realistic as teh first episodes?
Anwser: Jarett: well, we're big fans of a lot of styles.. we wanted the freedom to explore and create as many different genres as we could with Pure Pwnage.. it's rare to have such freedom creating a show like this
Question: -:KSA:- Yael: Have you guys heard of the guy who made a map of his school for CS:S? Do you think that the way people reacted to it, was overreacting, or do you thing that it really does show that people take gaming a little bit too seriously?
Anwser: Jarett: I thought it was cool.. i wish someone made a map of my school when i went.. would've been fun to play on :).. he's hiding in Science 10!!!
Question: {BFL} DarthFous: Why did Kyle play teh_masterer? Did you need an actor or is there something we don't know about Kyle?
Anwser: Geoff: Originally we wanted the drummer in my band to play "teh_masterer", but he couldn't make it for the shoot - so I put on a hoodie and put my head through a shirt sleeve :) - There is no connection inside the fiction of the show between kyle and teh_masterer, they are separate characters.
Question: Potatoe: How did you come up with the idea of the victory gloat?(the humping and stuff)
Anwser: Geoff: Jarett does this stuff all the time :) on the DVD special features there is footage of Jarett and Joel playing NES hockey - they get really into it. Thats how they actually play :)
Question: _Surfaced_: Will Pure Pwnage tour the USA again for the premieres of any of the upcoming episdoes in season 2?
Anwser: Geoff: We have a few other countries to visit before we make our way back to the USA for a tour. The London screening is going to be a blast! The fan reaction to the London screening announcement was very positive.
Question: dochmbi: You have fans in all major cities in europe. Hence you can get free and good quality accommodation from reverent fans, which makes it very economic to travel. Do you plan to take advantage of this and visit some cities in europe?
Anwser: Jarett: as appealing as it is.. there's a certain line we don't like to cross with our fans.. and staying at their houses is usually over this line ;).
Question: wumpafru1t: Jarret, you're obviously an awesome gamer, but are YOU, in real life, as good as Jeremy is made out to be?
Anwser: Jarett: i don't think anyone is as good as Jeremy is ;).. i have played games since i was about 4 - my atari :).. i was always the "gamer nerd" in school.. i've spent hours nearly every day of my life playing.. so ya, i've gotten pretty good :).. good enough to beat my friends etc., but i enjoy playing competitively online now.. so i am still often challenged..
Question: grim reaper: Will PP ever be filmed in HD?
Anwser: Geoff: We are currently shooting in HD - we look forward to releasing season 2 on Blu-ray or HD-DVD (depends on what happens with Blockbuster I suppose)
Question: Mav: When the characters of Jeremy and Dave had the micro battle in the park against some of the Big Bad's minions, the one "villian" henchman dropped his NES Powerglove, yet in the season 1 finale he has it again, did the character just get another or was this a slight plot hole overlooked? ;)
Anwser: Geoff: He bought another one from Ebay
Question: Jolt: What do you think you would be doing right now if you didn't the idea of Pure Pwnage?
Anwser: Geoff: I probably would still be a physicist - playing around with photon calculations :) I'm sure I would still be making funny videos with my friends, it would just not be my full time job.
Jarett: i'd still be eating tuna sandwiches doing stand=-up comedy and playing games 12 hours a day :)
Question: orgrimdoom: If your a blizzard fan and like starcraft 2 how come you make fun of warcraft so much?
Anwser: Jarett: i'm a fan of games, not so much developers :).. and tbh, wc3 really disappointed me.. i hated the hero system and creeping.. i wanted something more like wc2.. and when wow was made and not sc2....... ;)
Question: fps_tom: Jarret you said you like Ricky Gervais's "The Office" series do you like his other show "Extras"?
Anwser: Jarett: yes, but not as much as The Office.. it would be hard to top that sort of genius
Question: Jolt: When you were growing up, who were your influences?
Anwser: Jarett: Bill Hicks changed my life, literally.. he was a strong influence in my career change from comp.sci to stand-up comedy.. i never believe you could say the things he said on stage and not be mobbed.. it was the last push i needed

Anwser: Jarett: I am in 2 CAL leagues atm ;)
Question: =[BSID]= SGT MrBojangl3s: Do you feel sometimes that there are “story” episodes, “funny” episodes, and even “filler” episodes?
Anwser: Jarett: certain episodes have certain flavours.. we've never made "filler", but certainly focus more on "mockumentary style" comedy in some episodes and epic story in others
Question: PuN1sH3rWoLf(ACC): Jarret, where did you meet Geoff?
Anwser: Jarett: on the playground in grade 5 :)
Question: Outlaw: Do you think playing games has an affect on your social skills?
Anwser: Jarett: yes.. usually positive :) i think it's a great way for people who may be a little shy in RL to build relationships with people, develop social skills and especially build seld confidence
Question: If there was a Pure Pwnage video game to be made, what would you want it to be like and for what systems would it be on?
Anwser: Jarett: i am interested in leading an rts design team at some point in my life.. the greatest rts ever is sitting in my head and if i don't get it out i'll die with too much regret ;)
Question: utlaw: Will the whole of the PP cast be there at the Premier in London for the new episode?
Anwser: Jarett: geoff, miranda and myself will be able to attend the London premiere
Question: Jolt: Dave, do you prefer short hair or your current long hair?
Anwser: Dave: i guess i like my super short hair better
dave: but apparently, it's less cool than my long hair

Question: The_PC_Gamer: How often do you plan to have episode premiers outside of toronto area?
Geoff: pretty much every episode we will be travelling somewhere. We have yet to decide where to go for ep15.

Anwser: Dave: i know i can fry up some good shit
dave: and i kinda like making awesome fish sometime
dave: most importantly, i think i am a pretty good cook

Question: Dark Chili: Do you guys like CS:S or any other FPS?
Anwser: Geoff: I played a lot of CS:S, Jarett, Joel, Dave all played a lot of Army Ops. I know Jarett is exploring Quake4 but he is not sure if he likes it. We are all looking forward to Team Fortress 2!! that looks like its going to be very fun (I always liked being an engineer)
Question: RS XenoAroe: Do you think that the gamer nerd stigma of the past is decaying with their rising popularity and positive media spotlight like Adam Mapleson's heroism
Anwser: Geoff: I think the entire meaning of "nerd" and "geek" are changing in an increasingly information based world. I think that people are realizing that gamers are just like everyone else.
Question: オーバーキルISHIDAクインシー: Does any of the guys watch anime? if so what ones do they like?
Anwser: Geoff: I liked Cowboy Bebop, and Serial Experiments Lain - the ending to Lain was a bit disappointing though.
Question: Kuo: Do you guys play or follow leagues as in e-sports?
Anwser: Jarett: i follow a few games.. wc3, sc, q4.. i play cnc3 and sc a lot still myself
Question: Sol!d: What's your opinion on Jack Thompson and his crusade to ban viideo games?
Anwser: Jarett: well i don't think he's out to ban video games in general :).. there are some good points to be made against gratuitous violence and irresponsible art influencing youth culture negatively.. but he's in the "religious fanatic" category in my mind, and doesn't represent his side very well :)
Question: Sheepdog: I found that Tool was listed as one of the bands that Jarett listens to. As being a big Tool fan, I was wondering what his favorite song or album?
Anwser: Jarett: AENIMA ;).. no favorite songs, the albums are "whole" to me :)
Question: Edv4rd: Is it possible you will ever visit Norway (in either an episode or on a tour)? Lots of ppl watch the show here?
Anwser: Jarett: can't say we'll film there or anything, but absolutely i'll be visiting there at the very least.. i'm a big fan of northern european culture :)
Question: Outlaw: What is your favourite games developer and what games would influence this choice?
Anwser: Jarett: Nintendo. i suppose nostalgia influences my choice a lot.. but a constant focus on *gameplay* as opposed to fancy graphics or shock violence has always been appreciated.. marios, zeldas, metroids.. all have been fantastic franchises that have kept me smiling for many years
Question: {DVLR}Lopez!!!: what is your most favorite thing to do when not doing anything with pure pwnage?
Anwser: Jarett: playing games :) lately i've become a big fan of table tennis too (the real sport).. it's a new addiction for me
Question: DZ] Pvt. Joker: Jarrett/Geoff, if you could choose between working as game designers or actually getting pickedup by a big TV company to broadcast your show, and give you some kind of contract, what would you choose?
Anwser: Jarett: well, i have to say i'd rather make games.. it was always my goal through school to get into game development before i fell in love with comedy.. hopefully one day i'll still have the opportunity
Anwser: Geoff: I love making Tv shows, I'm sure I would love making games, but I think I love music the most - I would love to play live music for a living.. but all three of those are dream careers for me :)

Question: IW} Lt.Dufrain: The PC vs. Consol battle has been going on for a long time now, which do you prefer?
Anwser: Geoff: I've always been a PC guy.. I dont even own any of the next gen consoles (gasp!)
Anwser: Jarett: it really depends on the genre.. imo fps and rts are PC games that don't translate well.. but a platformer or fighter work far better with a console controller.. consoles seem a little more "elegant" and skillful in their controls, vs. the mouse/keyboard setup which wasn't designed for gaming :) i like the accessibility of consoles too.. makes for good party gaming
