GG30|Droodie: About 2 to 3 times a week
GG8|SmainGerrard: We play 2, 3 times a week.

GG30|Droodie: On our own, by playing between us.
GG8|SmainGerrard: Nah, on our own, through our countless sessions. Books are useless^^

GG8|SmainGerrard: PES5, since it was the nearest it got to reality
GG30|Droodie: PES3, which was by far the most realistic
OGC Nice: Are you going to play on PS3 or keep using the PS2?
GG30|Droodie: At home, we'll play on the PS3 for the thrill but we'll still be using Playstation2 during tournaments.

Droodie : Winning at the Stade de France and qualifying for the ESWC this year

celine0805: What are the common mistakes beginners make?
Droodie : Play with the sidebacks, not giving offensive or defensive individual settings or not using a manual goalkeeper
Roni3: Is it tough to become a pro gamer?
GG30|Droodie: You need to collect results first in tournaments, until a team gets interested in you. Then you need to be lucky to join the right team
GG8|SmainGerrard: Yes it's tough, you have to prove everybody every time that you belong in the elite
OGC Nice: What can you tell us about your 5-3 loss to Alim, Droodie? Lack of concentration when you were leading 3 to 1?
GG30|Droodie: Nah, I think he pressed hard and well, though it's true I may have been too confident… The shape of his players also made a difference
celine0805: How many hours a day do you have to train?
Droodie : We don't play every day, only 2 to 3 days a week and for tournaments on week-ends

GG30|Droodie: 4-3-3 forever!!!!
GG8|SmainGerrard: 4-3-3 is our strategy!!!
Carand: Do you plan on having a career as PES pro gamers?
GG30|Droodie: Let's say if PES was ever to become a professional sport, we'd be right there to hop on board but it's not the case yet, so we don't think about it too much
GG8|SmainGerrard: We'd love to make it a career but it's not developed enough right now to think about it seriously

GG8|SmainGerrard: I don't really mind, PS2 and PC are the same
GG30|Droodie: It's more fluid and the game is slower, it's more realistic

Droodie : Do not press too hard, do not throw yourself at the ball. Then it's very important to give the defenders a defensive stance so they do not rush ahead offensively
GG8|SmainGerrard: Do not throw yourself! Give defensive stances to your whole defence and your defensive midfielders.
Yragorn: Do you go for the easy goal or do you try sometimes harder and more artistic stuff?
GG8|SmainGerrard: We don't really care for beauty, we're there to win!!
Droodie: It depends on the opposition. Of course, it seems easier against a beginner, but with tougher players, you need imagination and creativity at all times
Carand: If you don't play soccer in real life, do you play any other sports?
GG30|Droodie: No, personally, I stopped football and any kind of sports
GG8|SmainGerrard: I still play a little football sometimes and ping-pong occasionally

GG30|Droodie: I never played it much, PES is more than enough… But from the little I've seen, it looks too arcade oriented for me

Snapy: What's the biggest come back you have ever done?
Droodie: The return match against Alim during the French national cup. I lost the first match 2-0 and won the second 3-0 which gave me a ticket to the World Cup!
GG8|SmainGerrard: During the semi-finals of the French Cup, I trailed the whole game until I scored twice in the last minutes of the match for the win

GG30|Droodie: Barcelona, because they play the ball around, not like Inter for instance... and it's beautiful to dribble with Messi, Ronnie and Saviola!

GG8|SmainGerrard: No, never.
GG30|Droodie: Never, but I like the team spirit in Counter strike and makes me want to play more.

GG30|Droodie: Not often, the fact that there's lag doesn't make me want to play, but it's nice to be able to play with people from anywhere in the world

GG30|Droodie: Not to train, but we met some at tournaments this season

GG30|Droodie: Very very long! I'm passionate about it and I can't picture myself not playing PES anymore

What are each other's main qualities as a PES player?
GG30|Droodie: He's very strong technically, dribbles very well and he's amazing with Inter Milan. He's also very strong in goal situations.
GG8|SmainGerrard: He's got this great capacity to keep the ball in small perimeters, very solid defence with a unique way of pressing. And he's very accurate in front of the goal.

GG30|Droodie: I don't play online at all so it's very difficult…

GG8|SmainGerrard: CS of course
GG30|Droodie: Nah I don't think so, I like football too much, except if a new football game is released that knocks PES off :)
Who's your favourite player in the game? Which one gives you the biggest problems?
GG8|SmainGerrard: C. Ronaldo is my favourite, Ibrahimovic is the one that pains me most
GG30|Droodie: Playing with Barca, my favourite player is Ronaldinho for his dribbling quality!! Zlatan is by far the hardest player to stop!!

GG30|Droodie: Let's say that first I played with my pals and I think I was the best among us… then I attended a few tournaments and the good results came quickly so I felt it was good^^

Both: A bit of both. You need talent but you need to train for it to develop.
When you face the computer, do you crush him?
Both: I don't play against the computer.

GG30|Droodie: Yes. Plantronics, and point of view.

GG30|Droodie: It comes slowly, radios, televisions, internet… we're getting more and more solicitations!!
GG8|SmainGerrard: No, a few interviews here and there and the French TV channel Game One.

GG30|Droodie: Playing with Barca, I can say Inter is by far the best team in the game and developers have messed with their stats

Carand: Talking about private life, is it hard to match family and PES without one stepping over the other?
GG30|Droodie: Family is ok, when you have a girlfriend, it's tougher, and you need to make important compromises, sometimes too important…
GG8|SmainGerrard: My girlfriend's going crazy, family is all right, and they support me.
