I will be covering it in Computer Games Magazine. I would love to follow up the first article with a nicer piece. All I will do is present the facts in the case, which make Yahoo look like a big bully trying to push around the new kid. It's obvious where my opinion stands on this issue, and I have 200,000 readers that will attest to it. Of course, this isn't a threat or anything. I just thought you may want to know what the press pool is thinking about this issue. Thanks, ~Kevin Kevin Rice Contributing Editor Computer Games Magazine

-----Original Message----- From: Duane Pemberton Sent: Thursday, March 10, 2005 2:49 PM To: bnelson@yahoo-inc.com Cc: terrellk@yahoo-inc.com; sabrinaf@yahoo-inc.com Subject: Xfire Lawsuit To whom it may concern, I find it highly unfortunate that Yahoo has brought about a lawsuit against the team at xfire - it's quite obvious that Yahoo is doing nothing more than trying to force them out of business or tip their hand for an Yahoo buy-out. Unless Yahoo revokes its lawsuit and compensates xfire for any legal fees it may have to spend, I'll have no problems at all telling our 900,000+ readers to use your competitors products. Competition is a great thing for everyone, and as a voice of influence, we have no problems referring our readers to products and services we feel do the community in which we serve help them and not bring worthless lawsuits against others.
