[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: foralis: Question for the Dev's: Can we look forward to any GrandChase USA exclusive developments?

Answer: We are very excited to be working with KOG Studios on Grand Chase, and while we have not announced any plans yet, we are certainly looking forward to developing exclusive content for our release.

 

[Ntreev]kagei: Question: Riobux (lostchances): Why are you only able to use females?

Answer: Currently we have 3 female characters, and 1 unlockable male character named Ronan. There are still 2 more male characters that will be implemented in future patches.

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: PhantomDusk (iamchinaman): Will there be any other "special" dungeons such like Partusay's Sea?

Answer: There will be more special dungeons coming in the future. We still have almost 2 whole new contents to uncover!

 

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: NyaSana (nyasana): When will the second classes come?

Answer: With our most recent patch, we have enabled the second job of Elesis: Spearman! We hope to introduce the other second classes shortly after. =)

Answer: Hmm I believe the question is about pets. Unfortunately at this time pets are not implemented, but we hope to have them in the near future.

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: skyez: My question is, How many more creative classes/characters are you planning to bring to the USA version of Grand Chase? It would be awesome to have a colorful variety to choose from.

Answer: We are trying to stick to the original game as possible. We still have many more characters and jobs to introduce.

 

[Ntreev]kagei: Question: kid5423: Hi I have a question, In the future will their be any way that we could trade, or is it any way that we can buy stuff for other user with Ntreev Cash?

Answer: Currently there are no plans for this to be implemented. However if you would like this implemented you should post in our Suggestions Forum.

 

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: Errick (errickfoxy): Do we have a time frame on when we'll have all the currently existing characters?

Answer: Of course we're interested in bringing you the content we have as soon as it can be localized and tested, so this might change, but right now I think the safest answer would be "by the end of the year".

 

[Ntreev]kagei: Question: BlueScreen-ISU (bluescreenisu): since a recent patch players are flooded with quest scrolls, it is annoying to delete all of them, will the drop rate be lowered in the future?

Answer: We're considering lowering the drop rate on scrolls. As of now they have a high drop rate and do take up much of ones inventory.

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: krazykarl (krazakarl): I would like to know how long it took for the official Grand Chase USA project took to become developed.

Answer: It tooks us hard working 5 months to bring the project to beta release state. We are fortunate to have KOG's support on the whole project. Both parties are extremely interested in making our release successful.

 

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: zero721ms: What is the work environment like at Ntreev USA?

Answer: Well, it's an office job like any other, you have to show up and work full time, plus sometimes overtime! Since it is an electronic entertainment company though, of course you know we have fun =) My favorite time is the GM Brawl!

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: fafdsfr (fafdsfr): Out of curiosity, about the 2 male characters, will you have to unlock them, or will you be able to start as them

Answer: All the additional characters will have to unlocked in order to acquire them.

 

[Ntreev]kagei: Question: PhantomDusk (iamchinaman): Will you even consider another character to be created? One perhaps from players ideas?

Answer: We do have a timetable, and we currently are ahead of schedule.

 

[Ntreev]kagei: Question: Globalastro (globalastro): Are the GM's going to eventually just play with us rather then setting them up as "events" (that tend to happen while im at work)

Answer: We actually do play with characters in dungeons. This however is not scheduled and is random games throughout the day.

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: R.I.P | Giggs90 (giggs90): will ther be gamer weekends when ve get more XP?

Answer: This is something we can definitely do in the future. :)

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: skyez: Will Grand Chase remain as a Free-to-Play game or will there be a fee in the future?

Answer: Grand Chase will remain as a Free-to-Play game forever.

 

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: Cybolt (cybolt): For those of you who have worked with other games, what is working on GrandChase like compared to other games and projects that you've worked on/are working on (ie. Trickster)?

Answer: For those of you who may not know, I am also a GM for Trickster Online: Revolution. The Grand Chase project is much different, obviously because it is a different game, but we use very similar tools for both games. Once you learn the differences between each game, you'll find the routine is more or less the same. =)

 

[Ntreev]kagei: Question: (branzyboy): what does this 'GM Brawl' you speak of consist of?

Answer: The GM Brawl happens from 4:30 to 5:00 PM PST on Wednesday and Friday. During this time all of the GM's join the Free Class PVP section and play. Anyone who plays in a game with a GM then receives 10x Large HP Potions.

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: (As a quick aside, due to today's XFire chat we will not be hosting a GM Brawl today. I look forward to fighting you all on Wednesday though!)

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: (branzyboy): how old are all of the devs?

Answer: We all all immortals and reponsible working adults!

 

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: Riobux (lostchances): Are you planning to make the game harder? I personally find I am able to "tank" dungeons with much higher levels and easily win.

Answer: Keep in mind that you've only seen the first dungeon on the Ellia continent so far. ;)

 

[Ntreev]kagei: Question: biggles (biggles77): will higher lvl gear be coming in a faster order? because ppl are lvling faster then the gear is coming out

Answer: We have seen many players leveling extremely fast. Due to this we are looking at releasing higher level equipment, quicker.

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: Riobux (lostchances): Are you planning to make the game harder? I personally find I am able to "tank" dungeons with much higher levels and easily win.

Answer: There is a mode with extreme difficulty in development!

 

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: [Xfire] Artaxs (artaxs): In many free-to-play online games, the Cash-Shop items are mostly for character avatar customization and do not confer better combat stats than those purchased with normally aquired in-game money. Why are the Cash-Shop items in Grand Chase so much better stats-wise than their normal counterparts?

Answer: Game balance is always a tricky issue, and in our case we need to strike a happy harmony between providing an incentive for players to support us, and not over-powering certain elements of the game. We're satisfied with the way our cash shop items are playing out right now in this regard. I think it's important to remember that in Grand Chase, your stats are only a small representation of your overall ability. Skill matters. ;)

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: «ºFOFº» ΜΑќΞζΗΙƒТ (killerconnor): Will there ever be an expansion you can pay for?

Answer: All of our updates will be provided for free. We don't plan on charging anything for the content itself.

 

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: inusfan: What events do you have planned in the not to far future? Perhaps seasonal events?

Answer: We are still experimenting with new ideas for events to run with the players. GM Brawls are only the first example of such an idea put into production. We will continue to work on seasonally-themed events, and may move towards hosting tournaments if we find the desire is there. If you have an idea, share it on our forums, we're listening!

 

[Ntreev]kagei: Question: krazykarl (krazakarl): What will the Guild section later on consist of? i knotice there is a section for it.

Answer: Currently the Guild feature is not implemented. The Guild Section on the forum is so that players can pre-form guilds and create them when this is implemented.

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: Globalastro (globalastro): My final question, i understand that you are very busy people working (as i am an adult working for a living also) is there a chance to get ETD's on 1:1 support? as some of us have had tickets in for over a month with not as much as a "we are trying to get to it, we are just very busy)

Answer: We are working hard to improve our tools which we work with and turnaround time as well. This is something we are putting an importance on. Thanks for your patience and everyones support!

 

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: BlueScreen-ISU (bluescreenisu): afk rooms are terrible, will there be a timeout for hosts when they are afk, some day?

Answer: As a player myself, this is a frustration I share with you! While we do not have any hotfixes to announce at this time, we are exploring ways to reduce the inconvenience this poses to all Grand Chase Knights. =)

 

[Ntreev]kagei: Question: Riobux (lostchances): Who is the best at GM Brawl?

Answer: Me of course. ^^

[NTREEV] David: Question: PhantomDusk (iamchinaman): I hear in other version of GC there are 5 star levels, will this be implemented?

Answer: There are more harder modes than 3 star being planned at this moment. We don't have an exact time right now but it is definitely being planned.

 

[Ntreev]kagei: Question: s2tuanh: will there be more item slots in the future? i constantly find myself having to sell or delete a lot of my items at a time, and it sometimes gets a bit annoying~

Answer: Very soon we are going to be releasing an item that increases your item slots. Look forward to this in an upcoming patch!

 

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: moonlightlover: Will there be a point when someone can join the grand chasers an become a GM also?

Answer: Well like I said before, being a GM is an office job. In the event that we are looking for more staff, most likely we would make a job posting on our website and accept the most qualified applicant(s).

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: (branzyboy): Are you planning on holding any in-game competitions? Such as tournaments.

Answer: Yes, we will be providing tournament features which will be integrated into the game and website as well.

 

[Ntreev]kagei: Question: moonlightlover: why does ronan only have 1 weapon for Gp and will there me lvl 15 an 20 gp weapons for him also?

Answer: New items for GP and Cash are being implemented. It's in the works so you shouldn't worry.

 

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: Ekallo (ekallo): Are there any plans to tweak the jumping puzzles in dungeons such as making them easier/harder or removing them completely?

Answer: I like the jumping puzzles personally, it adds a bit of platformer charm to the game. I think that with practice, it will come as natural as something like riding a bike, so at this time no, I don't think the difficulty is too high.

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: krazykarl (krazakarl): I constantly get a message while im in dungeon saying that my quest information doesnt match, and it has a yes and no below it, is there any way i can prevent it or is it a glitch?

Answer: This is probably happening due to Cash and GP missions being carried out together. Try doing 1 type of quest at once.

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: foralis: Question for the Dev's: What additional steps, other than gameguard nprotect, are Ntreev taking to reduce the incidents of hacking?

vWe have many external and internal methods to redue hacking and game exploits. That's all I can say. :)

 

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: Crossfire (ssyazwan): How many GMs are there in total in GrandChase? Is it the same amount as Trickster Revolution?

Answer: Enough ;) Actually, some of the Grand Chase GMs are Trickster GMs also, like me. Overall I'd say it's about the same for both games.

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: demonhakkai: Will their be more challenging quest other than completing a stage or killing a certain monster?

Answer: Yes! We knoe players want more variety and we are constanly monitoring how players play Grand Chase!

 

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: otot54: What do you personally think of the different parts of Grand Chase? Such as the art style, music, gameplay, and community?

Answer: I'm very happy with the overall style, feel, and gameplay of Grand Chase, it reminds me of classic 2D fighters in a way. We also work very hard to preserve this style so that the players get to share the same vision we have for the game. To cite a specific example, we fought verrrrrry hard to keep the original korean voice rap song in the game. ;)

 

[Ntreev]kagei: Question: zerodox (z10): Will there ever be npc characters that can help you fight/ Will there ever be anything like this in the cash shop?

Answer: The closest thing to this is the pets that are going to be implemented. These pets will alow you to attack once they have enough energy charaged up.

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: Crossfire (ssyazwan): Will there ever be a way to change your GrandChase nickname?

Answer: At this moment, there is no method to change your nickname. It may be available to in future.

 

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: Errick (errickfoxy): Actually yeah, do the servers "overlap"? When we have more than one, will your characters carry over or do you start over on each server?

Answer: If we do release new servers, they will allow you to play the same character, however you will only be able to play with other players currently connected on that server.

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: Mephiles the Dark (warrioralienmon): Dev, I Have question for you, Will there Be any Expasions/Sequels/Add-ons, and will the be a new Level Increasement like from lv 25-40

Answer: We have major updates coming out this summer. Please look forward to it!

 

[Ntreev]kagei: Question: Rubyflame (rubyflame17): Will there be pets that do not require cash to purchase?

Answer: Yes there will be pets that do not require cash.

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: [BF] Aero -=XZ=- (aeroxzx): How will pets help you, and will you have different versions? Ranged, close ranged, support, etc. etc.?

Answer: In addition to supporting the players in battle, join the battle themselves, able to be leveled up and many other functions for pets!

 

[Ntreev]kagei: Question: demonhakkai: Question for the Dev's: Are you considering to develop other forms of PvP battles, other than Tag Mode or fight mode? Also, what other PvP items are you consider of developing for PvP?

Answer: Currently there are only 3 different types of PVP battles. We are working on new creative modes for PVP. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them on our official Suggestions Forum.

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: deathnote40x: will u be able to fuse wepons together or break down one to add to another

Answer: There is feature to 'fuse' per say but you can upgrade your weapons with Rune system.

[NTREEV] David: *I mean to say There is 'no' feature. ;)

 

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: jared12890: besides gaming, what are your guys favorite past time?

Answer: Besides gaming... wow, that's tough. Wow, I mean *really* tough! I play a lot of games! To answer though, I'm really interested in programming, and I like contributing to open source projects in my spare time. ...But those projects are usually related to gaming. >.>

 

[Ntreev]kagei: Question: Imban (imban): Many players are, especially after the two most recent events, level 25 or higher - if not 30 plus - on their highest-level characters. While Partusay's Sea provided slightly more content to these players, there are still very few items available. When will we see more equipment, both for GP and for Cash, available for our high-end players?

Answer: This will be a gradual process releasing all of the GP and Cash items. We expect to have most of the items in by the end of Summer.

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: AntiSleep (ob5erver): For the gaming controls, will you ever make it playable with the mouse aswell? Ex to aim and shoot with Lire

Answer: There is no plan to support Mouse controls. Grand Chase supports keyboard and USB game pads.

 

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: tridotg: Question, now that you have realeasd elesis 2nd job, what 2nd is next?

Answer: Normally we do not disclose future patch information outside of our website, but as a special bonus for XFire chatters, I will tell you that Lire's 2nd job is up next. ;)

Answer: There are other non-fighting modes being planned and developed. Look forward to more news about these futures on our main website.

Answer: Online games are never complete.

 

[NTREEV] David: Question: foralis: Question for the Dev's: Will it be possible, anytime in the future, to buy some cash items with crystals? (albeit a large number of crystals)

Answer: Cash items can only be purchased with Ntreev Cash Points. Crystal items can only be purchased in Crystals.

 

[Ntreev]kagei: Question: Sooo... Are there limits to what a GM can do in the game?

Answer: Immortals have no limits!

 

[NTREEV] GM_Loki: Question: Riobux (lostchances): Most Online games that have a RPG system have put in hidden parodies of things ranging from programs, to games, to anything else. A big example of this Kingdom Of Loathing. Is there any intention to add your own parody of things or are you planning to keep the game as close to serious as possible without being too-serious?

Answer: We have already added some "easter eggs" and other pop-culture references to Grand Chase, it's just part of the localization process, I honestly feel it makes the game better overall! You can't take yourself too seriously. =) See if you can catch some of them in the future. ;)
