Answer: We tend to believe that suicide is only for fun games. It can be used to keep enemies down with in the lane, but techies gets underlevelled very fast.
[MYM] MaNia-: Question: яаĸıєιι™: MYM: What item spec do you goes use for Sand King? And who from MYM Uses Sand King?
Answer: i play the sand king sometimes, i usually get dagger/bot/aegis.
[MYM] Maelk: Question: myskid asked: my favourite hero is enigma although i dont see him picked alot in league games could you explain why he is not league material?
Answer: Enigma is a very vulnerable hero, very easy to kill, and inorder for him to be used succesfully you need to get his ultimate off which is very difficult with all the disables in DotA (stuns, hex and so on).
[MYM] LevenT-: Question: Nico: Wich lane/hero should gondar go with to make the best out of it :>?
Answer: first of all gondar needs to be on the "safety" lane @scourge(top)@sentinel(bottom) then u need to make sure he get enough support on his lane (ranged casters prefered)

Answer: i normally go for rando, when im playing with my friends, but im playing cw i like playing any of the support heroes, like sandking. btw my favorite item is radiance :D
[MYM] H4nn1-: Question: ScopeR: MYM: I see from lots of your replays that you focus more on early game than late game - for example spending alot on hp regen items and saving for other items later on. Any particular reasons for that?
Answer: No , we actually dont have a particular reason :o. Actually only trying to dorminate the early game that could be the reason for the regen which u mean we are getting in early game=)

Answer: I got not only one fav hero =)but heroes i rly like are butcher tiny and shadow fiend

Answer: Hi vaber ,, Nerubian weaver is a very powerfull hero if u play him correctly for example u need to secure the rune spots with your shades(left and right on the river) to make sure he ganis the maximum power for your bottle(as first item prefered)

Answer: From what i know is that LevenT and me are using warkeys and an extra tool for hp-bars
[MYM] Maelk: Question: Nico: Maelk - Question for you. How is it to be the big leader of a famous Dota team ;)? And what decisions can you make in game? What items they buy, what skills or what so ever? Whats the thing you actually can say as leader?
Answer: I try not to think to much about the expectations there is to our team, cause I fear it might affect our play, but ofcourse its nice with recognition. Ingame I have the final say on when we do something such as pushing, ganking or continue farming. All of us knows how to build our heroes itemwise - Hopefully!

Answer: Hi Niak , best items are 3 bracers , Dagger , Boots of travel and aghanims
[MYM] H4nn1-: Question: [USMC]v1s-eZ: Q for H4nn1 : what item build do you pick for tiny? were you the one that was playing Tiny in the BassHuner video clip?
Answer: On tiny im going for bottle in the new version, since i like to play on the solo lane whitch is mostly middle and can pick up the runes fast =) after that im going for arcane ,dagger and bot .

[MYM] Maelk: Question: DarkKnight: Do you all believe that choosing one character from DotA and playing with them consistantly is a good idea? (Like my friend uses the Nerubian Assasin all the time during one on one matches.) Or working with all of the different types of characters DotA offers you?
Answer: Most teams has a player that plays the 'carry' hero (We, in MYM, have Merlini and H4nn1=, but I think DotA, aswell as any game, gets too boring if you play the same thing over and over again.
[MYM] Maelk: By a 'carry' hero I mean the lategame, often sololaner, who is farming most of the game and just gets as many items as possible.
[MYM] H4nn1-: Question: cromex: Why people always take lothar with doctor and no BKB ?
Answer: not many ppl are doing lothars on doc normaly u go for dagger bkb and agha on doctor
[MYM] MaNia-: Question: bpx: As you migth know, DotA is getting more and more space on the e-sports scene lately... We're getting more and more leagues, more and more players... but no one is betting on DotA, we don't have championships with big prizes like CS, we don't have paid players n things like this... What do you think is happening with dota as a e-sport? Why don't we evolve??
Answer: Dota has evolved tremendiously over the last year. There has been big money prices in the asus, which was hosted in moscow. And this summer theres a huge prizepool in the dreamhack event (30000sek). So i do believe that dota is evolving
[MYM] Maelk: Question: vaber: If you HAD to choose one hero and use it for the rest of your Dota life, which would you choose?
Answer: I would go for Stealth Assassin so I could avoid dying and simply just hide.

Answer: as far as i know only MYM|p0c got some connections to Icefrog

Answer: on the lane im trying to use it to kill the enemy but late on as well to farm
[MYM] Maelk: Question: Made in Bosnia™: Maelk, you said you would use stealth assasin, but what would be the perfect counter to get a stealth assasin?
Answer: An obvious pick would be Bounty Hunter, but getting Aegis/Gem or a Book of Necromicon (3) would do aswell.
[MYM] LevenT-: Question: Mordor: What is the best build for Ursa Warrior... Would you go Lorthars or Blink Dagger ? thank you
Answer: Hi Mordor, definately Blink Dagger aswell he need Boots of travel to add some movespeed and alot of Tank items(like Heart of tarraske) to make benefit of his ultimate
[MYM] Maelk: Question: WeirdDevil: If you guys play in very important matches, will some denies be the difference in win/lose? a.k.a. how effective is deny?
Answer: In earlier versions, denying was the most important skill of a DotA-player due to the 100% denied experiene. Nowadays its more important to make sure that you lasthit enemy creeps to gain gold rather than denying a creep of your own.
[MYM] H4nn1-: Question: waccowillkickyourass: In your opinion, which heroes tend / will tend to be some kind of stable solo lane references, just as silencer or visage used to be in earlier versions?
Answer: In the new version u can actually play any hero on solo lane since u can get bottle which is imbalance . But heroes like tinker shadow fiend are pretty good on solo-lanes
[MYM] Maelk: Question: WeirdDevil: MYM: Do you guys ever give items to each other in order to make 1 hero extremely imba and dominate the match?
Answer: This is known as 'pooling' and isnt allowed in the leagues and tournaments we play, so no.
[MYM] LevenT-: Question: vaber: What hero has the best hero killing capabilities early game?
Answer: I would say Tinker is the best for killing heroes early game cause of his strong laser and long range Missiles
[MYM] Maelk: Question: cromex: Do you consider "backdooring" is a bad thing or do you accept it ?
Answer: If we are playing in a league that allows backdooring, then naturally we have to accept it. Backdooring is, however, something that gets us very upset if its being done towards us as we have learned to play Dota without backdooring.
[MYM] H4nn1-: Question: Mordor: For Silencer do you go Ability Points and Glaives of Wisdom, or another build with Curse of Silence ? thank you
Answer: Normaly u go for stats and glaives but against some heroes that have rly low mana and just one or none nuke like viper
[MYM] MaNia-: Question: Dave :: Naois/Ansgar: Dear MYM. Is it possible to earn a living out of playing dota as a sport or do you have other jobs? If so how does your job effect clan training and matches?
Answer: at this point its not possible to earn a living by playing dota. I have a job at the side and it takes alot of my time, but ill just pracc as much as i can, when i have some spare time. Its also important to take care of ur social life
[MYM] LevenT-: Question: vaber: Dear MYM: What about late game killing? Who is the best then?
Answer: A lot of agility heroes mostly like Stealth assasin Shadowfiend Drow Razor etc.
[MYM] Maelk: Question: cromex: Do you take a bottle with every heros or only with some ? And when do you check runes ? Do you wait having low hp or before a gang or when you will have to gang ?
Answer: Sololane heroes and ganking heroes has the best use of bottle and we will rarely use Bottle on anyone that doesnt have this role. We normally have mapcontrol with wards so we can see when runespawns and then ofcourse tries to time it so that the bottle is empty when we refill it.
[MYM] H4nn1-: Question: freddyclaw: Do you ever use chickens or crows to transport items to you at the front or is it better to walk or teleport to a base and not risk someone killing ur bird? Also do you ever just use a bird to store items if you need different combos?
Answer: We always have a chicken in start to transport items, yes. And you can also use the chicken to store the items =)
[MYM] LevenT-: Question: Dave :: Naois/Ansgar: In online games i notice some people get lots of cheap items and fill their bags up more or less is this a good way to start the game or is it better to get boots at the start of a game?
Answer: Hi Dave, depends on the heroes but mostly its better to have buy some stats(cirlcles + branches) and add some regen (tangos) cause its not nessecary to get boots early.

[MYM] Maelk: Question: яаĸıєιι™: Dear Maelk: How did you found MYM? Did you know all the members of MYM outside War3 or did you meet on War3 and decided to start a clan and turned out into this?
Answer: If you mean the players, we played in the league named IHCS together and MaNia and I have known eachother for years.
If you mean the MYM-organisation, I knew them for their WC3-team and because they are danish.
[MYM] Maelk: Question: freddyclaw: How do you guys train fo you split into teams within yourselves or do you find some other teams to practice against
Answer: We practice vs other teams, so most of the topteams are familiari with eachother and most are even friends. Ofcourse, rivalry happens, but we get along with most.
[MYM] H4nn1-: Question: xatrixx: What do you prefer in the very early game? Ironwood Branches or Circlets of Nobility, which you can upgrade to Bracers (/Wraiths/Null)
Answer: I mostly like do a mix out of it like getting 1 circlet and 3-4 branches and 4 trees to get mass stats
[MYM] LevenT-: Question: zieth: Do you prefer AoE or lane control in your line ups?
Answer: most likley we prefer both but it depends on our strategy if we wanna focus on mapcontrol and ganking possibility we choose lane control.
[MYM] LevenT-: if we focus more on 5v5 fights (push or defend) we choose aoe heroes

We play on the GG-Client (www.gg-game.com) because it removes any delay you might have and is much better to play on than Battle.net.
We find games through IRC (www.mirc.com) and also play in a league on IRC (IHCS).
[Xfire] Chatteox: When getting ready for a big fight, do you determine primary targets on the fly or is it always pretty obvious who to hit first for players of your caliber ?

Answer: In DotA, the chicken as there is no egg. In reality, I don't know ;)

Answer: Mostly right after you have killed one or more keyheroes from their team so that you have more heroes alive than they have.

Answer: you try not to get in the range of the stunners, many people use daggers to prevent this kind of gangs

Answer: Yes, we often play with the Vengeful Spiirit who's sole purpose is to swap out a keyhero of the enemy team so rest of our team can kill it.

Answer: We train regularly, preferably daily if everyone has time. In weekends we play alot and ofcourse staying active in various leagues will keep us active aswell.

Answer: No , II wouldnt prefer leshracs ulti at lvl6 cause of his low manapool in early game better skill the other speels first

Answer: at that time your own lategamers have gotten good items too, and you can kill ursa easy with stuns or hex.
another way of taking him down is omni's ulti.

Answer: I like all of them since butcher(str) tiny(str) fiend(agi) and tinker(int) are my fav heroes =)

Answer: Well i would advice u to play on gg-client and join the European rooms if u have a higher account ( lvl10) u can join the highlvl room where good and mostly mannered guys playin at

Answer: we cant use music while playing, because we are on ventrilo with the team, and we need to listen closely to what they say, about ganging or being ganged and positioning

Answer: Heroes such as Phantom Assassin, N'aix and other melee heroes without any real use or damage unless they get big items.

Answer: Firstblood is, in our oppinion, not very crucial. We will try to kill people whenever we feel the time is right and that we can. Otherwise we'll just stick to farming.

Answer: for regular u would go on lightning and stun but when u play 2v1 edict is also a good choice together with stun

Answer: Sandking , Slayer , Vengfull Spirit cause of the massive stun.

Answer: sure you can use str heroes as supporters. tiny has a big damage input in the start, so hes really nice to use

Answer: We are only human and yes, it does happen that we get mad eachother if someone messes up. The best thing is to keep calm and try to find a solution to the problem instead of just being mad at eachother. Remember: Noone fucks up on purpose :)
[MYM] Maelk: Question: walk_the_line: what do you think, how important ganging is, for example when maelk gangs with vengeful
Answer: If you are able to kill off someone, ganking is priceless. Especially if its the enemies lategamer or sololaner. Its riscy though, cause you lose experience.
[MYM] LevenT-: Question: Joe: What hero would you recommend for someone who is trying to get into comptetive play? What hero should be used and what would be a good item build for that hero?
Answer: Mostly likey Clan war heroes like Sandking , Slayer , Silencer ; Warlock or any other heroes with nukes/stun and support abilitys cause they are the most important and popular heroes among the competitive play

Answer: My girlfriend does it daily cause I play instead of ie. doing the dishes or cleaning up.
