Details of the event

On Wednesday, October 26th, 2005, the Infinity Ward development team will be on Xfire for an exclusive group chat with a lucky group of Xfire users, in particular to discuss their newest work, Call of Duty 2.

The team will be on Xfire from 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time (8:00 pm EST) to 6:00 pm. 100 Xfire members will be invited to join in and ask their questions, and get live responses!

Activision and Infinity Ward were kind enough to donate 20 copies of Call of Duty 2: Collectors edition to Xfire members. 10 copies were given away live during the chat; 10 more were raffled off to all the entrants to the original developer chat contest! The winners so far are:

A bit about Infinity Ward

Infinity Ward was started by 22 members of the Medal of Honor Allied Assault team, including all the leads.

Infinity Ward is a highly motivated and accomplished team with very high standards. We possess the realism and discipline it takes to get the job done on time. We balance this with a perfectionism that requires us to change anything and everything until the idea works, is fun, is exciting, is immersive and is the best we can imagine it being. Our games have a focus on animation not often seen in PC games, which we feel allows us to achieve the level of immersion that our team is famous for.
