Which one will be used on the tournement? There are lots of versions of Rising Dust, and we will probably have daytime, etc, later on. All of the tournament maps are the ijji version, so Scorpion for the first part, and night Rising Dust for the final rounds. Cause so far theirs only one mode for each map, and will you be able to pick night and day for each map? we have more day and night maps coming in the near future. We plan to have seasonal tournaments for AVA and hopefully yearly world tournaments. Our US National tournament qualifying begins next week and the winners will go to korea in december 2009 for world championship. The primary tournament mode in AVA is usually Demolition. We at ijji plan to host a wide variety of differnet tournaments. I can't speak for the international tournaments, but hopefully they'll continue to include different types of game modes like they're doing with escort this time =) Xander (xanderijji): udge :: Oktane (effitsjosh): Do you guys have an exact date for the AVA World Championships? This is a concern for many players due to school and other things of priority... College kids have finals in Mid December and aren't sure if we will be able to attend. Also is there a website for the World Championships at the moment? December 10th - December 14th. All expenses trip paid! Hotel, Lift ticket (ski resort), food, transportation. It depends on the item but typicallly when you buy a weapon for Gcoins you will be able to keep them. All you have to do to enter the drawing to win is make it into a game room with pandemic and play. BunnyHopp (bunnyhopperz): Will guns be rented, like it is in CA, or will the guns be permanent? Weapons you purchase will be permanent, you will need to repair them however [ijji] GM_Dak (bizkit01): roy13373: will a single player or free for all mode be added do AvA? It's not currently planned since it doesn't fit the AvA story, but could always be possible some time in the future. BunnyHopp (bunnyhopperz): When will clan emblems be released and how would we get them? Clan emblems will be releases within the next two monthss. Clans will fight for clan points and battle to select clan emblems first [ijji] GM_Dak (bizkit01): Life[E]: Will IJJI add the necessary things(demo/replay tapes/first person spectate) in the next few weeks that the competitive(pro) community will need to take off? We're using Xfire to record :), sorry I don't know of any plans for replays in the works right now. BunnyHopp (bunnyhopperz): how many items/maps/guns/modes will be released when AvA goes live and will our characters restart when we go live as in rollback? 6 new guns are being added to the update on nov. 11. We are not doing a database reset so you can keep your current characters BunnyHopp (bunnyhopperz): Are the new guns going to be cash shop exclusive or can we use them with in game funds? The new guns can be purchased with G coin or with in game money (Euros) Xander (xanderijji): koN // Phobia (h2okarnage): When will IJJI update the game for the in-game clan system were clans can add more then twelve players Good question. We plan to release these as updates. This will allow clan mates to grow with each other, before just mass recruiting 100+ people and not getting to know any of your clan mates. We want to encourage a close tight knit clan community. There will also be Specific rankings within your clan. There will be a "Elite Squad" where your clan master can make a team of the very best in your clan. This gives you something to aim for even within your own clan, and promotes friendly competetion. We hope to add the next clan rank within a month or two. [ijji] GM_Dak (bizkit01): tze24: when are you guys going to fix the lag/fps problems esspecially in map cold case, other maps lags badly too and im not the only one who compains about this We will continue to optimize the game over time, but it is running really smoothly on my machine now; try out different graphics settings to get it to run smoothly for you (ie, lower ones). Pandemic - kZuuUUU! (avapro7): what did you think about AVA? how did it compare to Modern Warfare? I think this game was pretty good. It has a more CS source feel, but is really fun( I don't like Source). I think compared to MW, I like MW more, only because it feels more developed as a game. So far I really like AVA, I think is a very healthy mix between the different games I enjoy. In comparison to COD, it appears to be just as fast. I really enjoy the guns and how they feel within the parameters of balance. Overall I feel the game is balanced, unlike most of the other titles I participated in. I think one of the biggest things is developer support, which is certainly needed for a game to be competition worthy. It's not a matter of how much you play, but how you treat the time you play. Most people I know use their time poorly. You have to risk a lot of mean looks from your family members, but its really important to try to get people on your side with it. Once you start to get good enough to make money in it, it becomes a lot easier to get your family and friends to support you. You might risk being in a few arguments, a lot of time, and being addicted to a video game. They're certainly features that would be nice, but we've been scrimming and we haven't had many problems competing. I think overall constant developer support is a positive when it comes to any professional title. Things like constant updates and attention to flaws can really go a long way. He beats up on a lot of people in that game. You just have to focus and try to learn how to play well, whether it be copying good players or developing smart gaming habits(just watch good players to learn from them).
