A North East fella who enjoys his online gaming. My addiction to killing people all started that day when I broke my ankle under a challenge in football and had nothing better to do than shoot people online in my frustration...what else better could I think of doing at the time with a broken ankle? Go jogging? Run the 4 minute mile???
I was really completely new to all back in 2005 when I was recruited into WNx (Warrior Nation) for Star Wars Empire at War. Not a game I was ever completely in love with I returned to my first love Star Wars Battlefront and was recruited by long time gaming friend Najac into {JMS}. When the clan lost its ability to run itself both Najac and I started a new clan called {TL20} after the myth of the missing 20 Jedi that left the Jedi Order (The Lost Twenty) that had a good number of ex-{JMS} staff as well as some excellent new members. Friendly, competitive and wildly active it was a huge success for 2 people who had never done something like this before. Our dedicated servers were always full and the clan as a whole was well thought of and seen as being well run. The clan reached a peak of 23 people and was in the top 10 in ESL (Electronic Sports League) for SWBF.
Unfortunately though all good things come to an end and after 16 months of running a clan I was close to burning out. I handed over the clan to the council and left. Real life stuff was needing some offline attention as well.
Taking a few months off to sort things out I slowly came back into the scene with Call of Duty 4 and after many months joined a group of lads called /| (Team Asylum). It was a laugh a minute and exactly what a needed to return the fun to gaming. Unfortunately again, with overseas deployments and people on holidays the clan died a quiet death.
Really taking my time to search out a good solid clan that was playing Call of Duty World at War which I found to be an excellent game I came across a no-brainer solid clan in Solo Elite (www.solo-elite.com) with again good laughs and massive competitive play. Still here and enjoying my gaming and can't think of anywhere I'd rather be. Gaming always needs to be about good fun.
Currently plying my trade on and the newest addition Bad Company 2, Modern Warfare 2 and Napoleon Total War.
