clan/communities

In the past 5 years i have been in at least 5 different clans/communities, and i have learned that excluding 2, the others were made because they like the way they were treated or drama took hold of everyone and they all moved on. i hear this one all the time from new and old clans,"Its just a game", I laugh at that, because they are only half right. It stays a game until you add X-fire, ventrilo, teamspeak, and all the other chat/voice programs out there. Thats when it changes everything, because now you are not just dealing with the game and mastering it, you are dealing with real people. You learn from them, you get to know them. you even teach them what you have learned, just to become a better player, and in the process you make friends and enemys. it happens because it is the way life is. Hence where all this drama comes from. Yes we deal with it everyday outside our homes and hope to get away from it by playing video games, or surfing the net. but we still have the desire to share with other people and thats one of the main reasons clans, communities, groups, teams, and gangs get started. its the commonality that we have with others that keeps us coming back for more. the gaming itself is addicting, but throw in a couple people, some smack talking, and some great laughs, its the hard to get up and go to the bathroom much less leave the house. I'm not knocking the games, the sites, the chat/voice stuff that allows us to do this, i am just trying to get the point across that when you log in, join a clan, talk to other people, basicly have fun, there is gonna be drama, stress, dislike of others and the joy of hanging with new friends, new crowd, and learning about things that you may have never known.
Other than that, HAPPY GAMING.
