i have heard in many occasions that ZH is named one of the better games in the RTS world... from starcraft as the founder of the "good RTS" games, to ZH as it's counterpart that never got the fame that it should have (due to EA's support denial), and now two great games are knocking on our doors: Starcraft2 and Universe at War.

what makes these games so great ? faction diversity. these games have 3 factions that are different by core gameplay. you cant make the same strat with each faction because they dont have the same strenghts, and they dont have the same weaknesses. and you can only win by using your strenghts to exploit your opponents weaknesses.

i play ZH because i like the fact that i can beat my opponent by actually using strategy and not just spam a load of my units and stroll into his base... tactics and strategy is what defines my play style. if a game doesn't have these: it's a bad game.
