So, the all new xfire beta is here and my first thought was:"WTF? Who designed this?"

Seriously. It's impractical, it looks way too "shiny" (the kids gonna love it, I guess), and why is there no proper ajax support (or whatever script they're using)?

When I click on "more" below my games, I expect this to expand (because it definetly looks like it would do just that) because the old xfire expanded that list as well, but no... there comes an inconvienent loading time which brings me to a totally different page, which takes a few seconds to load as well. Inconvienent, impractical, bad.

I know, clicking on the "gamepad icon" at the top gives me my total list (like I am expecting it), but that looks like crap and doesn't even fit with the rest of the layout (same goes for the rig information - what is that anyways? iFrame-layouts are totally outdated!), but the best part is the information about me... the box is empty with a bit of PLAIN text at the top left corner. Wow, whoever coded this, is a genious. NOT.

It looks so bad, that I feel like barfing.

The missing overview over EVERYTHING on your profile is a bummer as well. I mean... Raptr has already done this shit (even though, they started re-implementing the stuff they got rid of for the new design). Why are there no "sample" screenshots of my Library? Why couldn't there be a box for random screenshots (of the ones I've made of course)? Same goes for my videos. Why isn't something like this on the Profilepage?

I mean... I am glad that SOMETHING is happening here, it's been years that someone has actually done something like this for xfire, but if you want to do it, then do it right. The new Design looks just bad and isn't properly designed at all.

And no, I won't accept an "it's a beta". This is no excuse.

Garr. The upcoming Phoenix skin (which is supposed to be the new one for xfire) is already bad, but I didn't expect this to be even worse. -_-

ok, es wird mir ehrlich gesagt etwas zu doof wenn ich auf nem Server spiele und dort sachen wie "den trifft man nicht, kack lowrater" etc hört.

Es wird umso besser wenn besagte personen solch vortrefflichen aussagen bringen, aber selber nicht mal wissen was lowrates sind. Da kommen dann so sachen zustande wie:

Noob:"Ey, der lowrater..." *ma_rates in die console hämmer* "EY!! wtf?! der hat ne rate von 26000... ist das OK?! Ich kenne 25K und 30K, aber 26K?"
Bob:"Ich hab keine ahnung... aber dasn lowrater, in den geht nichts rein."

Besagte person hatte 26000, 100, 100. Also... auf den ersten blick nicht wirklich lowrates.

Nunja, ich finde sowas immer recht amüsant, es kotzt mich aber auch auf die gleiche art und weise an. Für alle die absolut keine Ahnung von Rates haben: STFU&read this

Ich bin es leid leuten zu erklären was rates, lowrates und standart.cfg rates sind. Wenn ihr nichts trefft liegt das meist an euch selber.

Über-dimensionierte Rates die euer Rechner nicht wirklich fahren kann resultieren auch in eine art lowrates. Das liegt dann aber an euch und nicht an den anderen.

Ich erinnere mich da an so nen berühmten Spruch:
