This helped me!
I made a discovery about the issue with Sound being out of sync, with video.
I am using Windows 7, Evaluation copy, Build 7100. I had the same problem as most, sound being ahead in video, about 2-3 seconds. I made another recording and by coincidence I made a recording that was Synced. I i noticed that i had a Windowed Civilization 4 BTS (v.3.19) mod loaded with lastest "Fall from heaven 2" mod minimized. I Closed Civ4, and made another recording, then i the video was OUT of sync. Made another try, again with Civ4 open. And the game was suddenly Synced again.
