2K Games Releases XCOM: Enemy Unknown Developer Diary Part 2

2K Games (www.2kgames.com) released today the second part of their developer diary for the upcoming squad-based strategy game of the iconic X-Com series titled XCOM: Enemy Unknown. The dev diary is hosted by Firaxis (www.firaxis.com) Art Director Greg Foertsch, who explains the creative design of enemies, characters, and the overall player experience in the game.

Ubisoft Releases Specialist Class Trailer for Ghost Recon Online

Ubisoft (www.ubisoft.com) released today another sneak peak video of the Specialist class in their upcoming squad-based tactical first-person game Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online. The class in the futuristic game setting is fitted with a bevy of weapons from light machine guns to combat shotguns, along with portable devices to aid their teammates. The Specialist class also carries a device that will rend the enemies unit's useless, as well as the A.E.G.I.S. device - a force field that deflects enemy projectiles.

A teaser of Fall of Samurai for current owners of Total War: Shogun 2, this pack includes a discount for potential buyers of the former. The DLC pack contains Gatling Guns, Ironclads, Armstrong Guns, and torpedo boats for players to use in combat.

It's a Whole New Ballgame!
The Madden NFL Demo is out now. Try out our new GameFlow system in full 5 minute quarters and get more Madden NFL in half the time!
The Madden fans spoke and we listened. Based on the voting that took place back in March, we're excited to bring you the Madden NFL 11 demo featuring the Indianapolis Colts vs. New York Jets.
The demo is available now for download on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. On August 10th, Madden 11 will be released to store shelves... and as a bonus will include the popular Madden Ultimate Team mode.
The demo offers many of this year's newest features, including the option to use GameFlow, an all-new playcalling system that automatically selects the best play for your team based on situational, authentic NFL game plans. You'll also have the ability to create a full game plan before the game begins, using the Jets or Colts playbook. To showcase the updated audio presentation in this year's game, the demo will also include commentary by Gus Johnson and Chris Collinsworth
Lastly, exclusively for Madden fans that play the demo, if you create and save a game plan in the demo, then you'll automatically unlock the "master strategist" achievement/trophy once you buy the retail copy for the first time. In addition, demo players will get access to a unique Madden Ultimate Team card (Jets Stadium, complete with a defensive boost).

Shogun 2: Total War boasts sieges will offer a new experience for gamers. Castles will now have multiple walls and multiple levels to break through before a siege may be considered successful. The AI has been reworked to offer more resistance using these new mechanics, and the difficulty of taking a castle will also depend in part on where they are located and how well staffed they are.

THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) today announced that its upcoming 3rd Person Action/Shooter, Warhammer® 40,000®: Space Marine®, will be shipping for the Windows PC in addition to the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.
Combining intense melee and ranged combat, Space Marine puts players into the boots of one of humanity’s elite soldiers, genetically engineered and equipped with state of the art weapons and armor.
