I love RPG's, but looking at my list of played games is wild. So many various RPG's on that list.

I still remember when I was 13 years old and played my first session of D&D. I was hooked, then in one class at school we were required to read the Hobbit for reading comprehension (understanding wording and phrases)
I read ahead of the class, and finished the book within days, and got an A+.
I then ran out and read the full series.
It never stopped.
Then I got my C64, playing the TSR gold games, then moving to the Amiga, playing Bards Tale and various other RPG's.
I like FPS's, and action games, but my heart will always be in the Action/Adventure of full blown Fantasy RPG's.

Just a brief little love letter to my poor, poor AoC.

I hardly knew ya, those first couple of weeks, we enjoyed our days, and were alone at night.
Pleasure existed for many a day.
Then you became cruel, forcing me to do the same thing over and over, and what was my reward?
Clothes that looked the same as before, jewelry that was less than adequate for a man of my stature.
Then the bugs you brought, ugh.
And every day it seemed you lost our focus, you could not remember why you were here, and did so many things haphazardly and slipshod.
I had to leave or else, I would hate you even more than I do now.

Goodbye AoC, maybe if you mature just a little bit, maybe we can be together again...
