Trying a game a friend from another game 'Allods' I play introduced me too. It's called RF-PoA - Process of Annihlation, it's new to me, but it's been around awhile. It looks pretty cool, though in the forums it looks like there is often a problem playing when patches come out with some people. In the forums though, they should give a guide to remedy the problem.
I'm a bit confused, because one video said that it had been canceled, but I think that it has now moved to rfpoa.com. Anyway, I am going to try it, and if it doesn't work will update this post.
To play and download go here first and register fully. It's free to play. http://rfpoa.com/v2/index.htm
Here is a video about armor in the game, with some kick ass music:

Here are some useful sites to help you while using Linux or UNIX or playing games on Linux. Linux an OS is open source software free to download and distrubute. Unix is also an OS though historically closed source, now some Unix projects (BSD family and Open Solaris) are open sourced. Currently on mine I am running Umbuntu which lets you run it within windows, so when I turn on my computer I have the option to run Windows Vista or Umbuntu Linux.

Interesting Study of WoW and Virtual Wor...
2010-05-12 7:30 AM PDT
I came across an article about a study of WoW gamers that says that some cannot distinguish between virtual and actual reality. It also mentions how girl players are treated, that they often get flirted with. I am a girl and when I played WoW I think the flirting was mutual, or non-existent. I even had a WoW boyfriend back then. Now however, I can not play WoW on my current laptop.
I miss it.
There are some great people that play WoW and all games for that matter. I think that we play games of course because they are fun, but also to escape from our often mundane lives. However there are many celebrities that now play WoW (ex. Aundrea Curry) and I know of one that plays Second Life (ex. Drew Carry), but I bet that there are more, they usually have busy lives. How cool it must be for a guy gamer to find a girl that likes the same game and maybe can kick their butt in it. I think that girl gamers should be cautious of course of who they give their private info out to, but so should the guys.
btw This is kind of a rambling post. lol
Anyway here is the article I mentioned you can read it yourself it is much more coherent then this post, I'm sleepy. lol

Xfire Live Video Rocks!
2010-05-03 10:34 AM PDT
I am finding myself visiting xfire.com more and more since they started the xfire live video, it is cool watching the WoW vids and also on Sat. night starting at 11pm there is a guy streaming movies. The live video chat rooms are neat too, it's not everyday you get to be insulted in real time (other than on Twitter lol)as one player noted everyone in "The chat room is happy when it is 53 people or less, but when it gets to 120-250ppl everyone explodes and is pissed." It's really funny to watch from a psychological stand point.
On my new laptop I cannot play WoW, so play Second Life instead, so it is nice to watch other players. Also, it is nice to be able to discover new games that are also in the live stream.

A *Noobs* Review of Runes of Magic ; )
2010-01-27 10:51 AM PST
I just started playing RoM which takes up 5G plus the gazillion updates it must do; depending on your OS must be each assigned to the Runes of Magic folder in your program files. I think it took all day and all night to finally get to play. Once in the game, it is a lot like WoW with a few exceptions, it is free to play and download, and the ease of movement is not as good in RoM as it is in WoW, but I cannot afford to play WoW right now so this will have to do. Visually RoM has pretty good, I made a video you should take a look and of course rate it *Cool* LOL
So in essence if your wallet is tight then consider playing RoM, it's worth it at least from this *Noobs* perspective.

Second Life the Game
2009-06-22 2:04 AM PDT
My Second Life Avatar: Sumalee Capelo - Send me a friend request on it.
I have started playing Second Life, and it is pretty fun so far. Best thing about it is No Questing! I even found my avatar a job on SL as a bartender the Linden dollars I make in the game can be transfered to read money. Pretty cool.
I was so sick of questing in World of Warcraft. I still will play WoW sometimes though, because some of my best friends are on it.
Highlights of Second Life aka SL:
#!! Free to play!
1. Meet New People, flirt or talk
2. Make your avatar look however you want
3. Dancing - Lots of formal events.
4. Parties - Lots of just regular parties.
5. Music - They have Live music shows and DJ's
6. Art - Lots of Galleries of art on SL
7. Gadgets - You can drive cars, plane, boat, AV, Jetski, hand glider.
8. Graphics - Beautiful graphics
9. Sex - You can have sex in it if you want.
10. Build to make Real Money- You can build things and sell for Linden dollars and transfer those to USD dollars so you can make actual money from the game if you are talented with scripts and graphics. The rate is 264L=$1USD I think.
11. In the end it is just a fun way to pass the time.
