Wow. Been awhile since I updated this. When I think of things that need to get done on a daily basis around the office I always say to myself "dang I really need to add some more blogs..". Not enough hours in the day really.

So anyways...people often don't like the fact that Xfire will not let you delete an account. The paranoia about someones real name being attached to an Xfire account always makes me laugh. This one dates back to July of last year. I remember reading and thinking this was instant wall of shame material.

So I read all the email that comes into the Xfire support box. We don't actually offer tech support via email, but in some cases if there is a legit problem where a user cannot post in the forums I will reply and try to help them.

Sometimes we get really funny/angry emails from users and I started putting them on my office wall for visitors to read. I had an idea to make a 'read only' forum to post these in for users to read, but never got around to it.

Well this is the one that started the wall. Without further ado... Lineage 2 boy.

"Date: 5/23/2006

I have realised that Xfire has abandoned the care of Private Servers for games such as Lineage 2. This ruins my day, my week and possibly my month. You have crushed the heart and soul of a young boy who now has no aspirations in life, my weekly time is now 6 hours and dwindling fast as I cannot register my hours any longer becuase of your childish decisions to not support private servers.

Not everybody in this world is made of money. Do you think we can all afford to play f*cking retail Lineage 2? If you do, you have been brought up in a candy-floss society full of lies. If this stupid decision is not reversed or at least brought up, all faith will be lost in XFire and it will been deemed a 'useless piece of shxt' amoung Lineage 2 Private Server players."

This guy was upset that he could no longer detect his hacked game running on hacked up server code. We felt sorry for him. Just kidding, we laughed and quoted it for months.

I suppose I should be feature testing blogs a little bit more so I can pummel toktic with bug reports. muahah.

Lots of changes here in the Xfire offices. Bazman is gone. The return of Raincrow to the forums. New incoming Game Support and Tech support help. It's all very exciting to see Xfire continue to grow.

The question everyone wants to ask me is "When are the new forums coming?" and "what are they going to be like?". The answer is: When they are ready and ....

So ridiculously hectic. Moving is the worst. But our new house is pretty nice. I moved my guitars and amp into my new "studio". Just seeing them in there made me think of all the music I'm going to create there...
