Monday, August 1st, 2011, my father passed away due to a heart attack, but he was already set to die one way or another. Apparently his entire aeorta ruptured and he had 2 severe bacterial infections in the bloodstream. We sat with him wearing gloves and surgical gowns to prevent contamination. Around 9:00pm CDT, when his pulse and rpm were dropping because of the heart attack, we said our final goodbyes and thank yous. My mother cried really bad after he went limp, but I think I was the worst out of it. I had never taken into account that he'd end up dying. A few weeks back, he was on the road to recovery and homeward bound. I still feel terrible to this very minute, being subjected to watch my father die, not that he writhed in pain. The nurses made sure he would not feel any pain with his medicine shots. I love you dad, and I will miss you very much. I will keep you in memories forever.

Today is my nephew's birthday. Please wish him a happy birthday.

Today, well yesterday, marks the end of my summer vacation. I have milked as much as I can out of it. Tomorrow, August 9, 2010, I will be in the 10th grade, fighting my way to graduation and real world life. If you would like, I could post a daily blog on my progress for all or most of the 180-day school term.

One of my classmates has died today. His name was Derrick Castophaney (aka Munchy)His brother went in and he went in to try to save him but was pulled down by the sink hole in the water.
