Oh my, I am addicted. To Portal, the newest release from Valve. It's a part of The Orange Box, but can be also bought separately on Steam.
Portal is a FPP puzzle game, running on Source engine, with portals. Portals are extra-demensional gates, there are two of them, and when you enter one of them, you come out of the other. Portals can be placed virtually everywhere, except moving surfaces and steel walls. Puzzles vary from simple to complex, using switches, turrets, moving walls, glass walls, energy orbs and Weigted Companion Cube, you have to get from one elevator to another.
The graphics is nice, since it runs on Source, the sound however... The soundtrack is just brilliant. Everything seems so natural. And the voices... really only two things talk, the turrets (soooo cuteee ^_^) and GlaDos, a supercomputer which runs the whole thing. Anytime they speak prepare to lol, cause all of the speeches are very funny.
That makes the game look like the creators had lots of fun while making it, and the players should have lots of fun while playing it too. I sure did. Too bad it's so short.

Geometry Wars

So, I got Geometry Wars. If I can say anything, this is one game that needs more xfire support. It rocks. It's like asteroids, only with pastel colours and 1000 times faster. It originates from X360, but is also avaliable for download for the PC, from Steam. Download it, and let the shooting begin ^_^

So, after a long time of not playing, I went back to Rakion. It's a intenet action game with various game modes (deathmatch, TDM, Golem, which is kinda like CTF, nad Stage which is PvE), 5 clases and tons of items. It can be a bit frustrating at first but when you get the hang of it everything goes smooth. Now there is an event which gives you bonus money when you lvl up (1000*you level, up to 30, which is a lot) and sometimes gives everyone a full Chaos gauge (kind of an ultimate mode, your apperance changes, you are faster, stronger and cannot be knocked over or grabbed). I invite everyone to plaing the game despite it's poor xfire support. Tons of fun.
