Guess what i did yesterday and example of my claims. I knew it was all possible. first, my gear head 5 dollar mouse scroll wheel broke. i took it apart and noticed a small section of the scroll wheel broke the part that goes in the hole on one side like a resting pin of its plasstic. the sad thing is there is no way to glue it back or even screw a metal pin in to replace the plastic piece it was to small. see the small pin on the right side of the
picture. that side broke. mine is smaller than the one in the photo. second I took an old mouse microsoft wireless mouse apart and found that it had a scroll wheel in it. the second microsoft scroll wheel mouse was larger in diamiter and wider. i would not fit easyly. I had a choice to go out in the world and buy a new mouse or made the one work with the part i found. i put the scroll wheel in to the place like in this picture and
picture and took a
dremel drill and turned that resting mouse into a
small lathe. I spinned the scroll wheel till it fit in to the gear head mouse. Now i have a new mouse old mouse fixed. There was some satisfaction that i fixed it. I could have went out and bought a mouse. A newer mouse might not be five dollars but I choose the for some the harder choice because I knew i could do it.
not once did i say to my self this could not be done because of past experiences. I claimed to know how to fix it but never have ever tried let alone with that method.
