Truly Great Games

These are the games that make people sit back, with mouths agape. Not crap like they pulled in the Assasin's Creed ending, but games like Halo 3, and Company of Heroes.
It's shifted, but cintematics make a game a failure or a winner. StarCraft proved that, especially with the end cintematic in the Terran or Zerg Campaign. I'm too lazy to play through it and find out for a second time. It's the one where DuGalle shoots himself.
Games have also become increasingly profound.
For those of you who've played COHOF, you've probably noticed this.
"They are our enemy, always remember that Uldrich"
"Are you so sure brother? They look like soldiers to me,"
They increasingly cover human nature, and the complexities of our minds and world. Not that I don't mind some Mario occasionally, or the mindless violence presented by GTA 4 (and they removed most of the glitches this time round!)
