Remember...

The 11th hour, of the eleventh day, of the eleventh month, the guns went silent on the western front, and one of the greatest butcheries in human history came to an end.

Years later, another butchery began, but this time, it was a conflict of totalitarianism vs all that the democracies of the world hold dear. The nation's call went up, and it was heeded. Men marched off, some never to return, and us, we must never forget what they gave us.

"We the dead give you the torch, be yours to hold it high. But lest you forget, we shall not sleep, though poppies grow in flander's fields." - John McCrae
