Why aren't there enough DECENT sci-fi mm...

For context, some background.
My favorite sci-fi mmo is Tabula Rasa.
Unfortunately for me and others like me, NCSoft (the publisher) had no respect for this game and did everything possible (some of it illegal!) to make sure the game failed.
So went Tabula Rasa "went to live on the farm", I immediately started searching for another sci-fi mmo.
As of this date, I have not found one that can take the place of Tabula Rasa.
And I tried a lot of them!
Stargate Worlds, the only possible successor to the Tabula Rasa legacy, ran into a mountain of trouble.
So much in fact, I highly doubt it's going to be out anytime soon, if it makes it out at all....
And to twist the knife in the wound, I keep running across fantasy mmos, which I have no interest in!
Are people like me, who want a decent sci-fi mmo being completely disregarded by the mmo publishers?
It's like, here's a fantasy mmo, play it, like it or get lost!

I logged into one of my email mailboxes today, one that is seldom used.
And was greeted with these emails:

I most certainly do not play either Warcraft or Aion.
I may have registered for a Warcraft account in the dim and distant past, but I never used it.
Furthermore, due to unpleasant interactions with the Ncsoft GMs, I have blocked their company from sending me emails.
And the email address they have on file is not one I provided to them.
Should I be calling my lawyers?
