now i can use ripent so i don't have to fuck with compiling the map over and over again

um with hlvis running of full
i got almost no lag
just every now and then but nothing really big issue, for slower computers
after about 6 months, with stopping for about a month or two between working on it, and using three different computers during the actual history of the development, if i work all this week, which won't happen, i should get it done by next saturday, but that won't happen so maybe two more weeks, unless i feel like getting this mother fucker done
damnit
i wish i know where that doodle is when i planned on the remake, it was nothing big though, just a small top-down drawing showing the walls of the base, and the idea i got with having rounded corners, i'll look for when i feel like not being lazy
um really i just need to work on some scripts for the ending which might take a while and some models i trying to make

EOAHREDUX IS NOW IN ALPHA. AS OF TODAY. IF I WANTED TO I COULD START BETA TESTING BUT THERE IS STILL SO MUCH MORE I WANT TO DO, LIKE EXPERIMENTING MORE WITH GAME_COUNT AND AI_SCRIPTS. ALSO THE AI_SCRIPT I WAS TRYING TO GET WORKING THE OTHER DAY DOESN'T WORK. THE INTRO MAP WAS COMPLETED AFTER TRIAL AND ERROR. ALSO TODAY I FIGURED OUT HOW TO IMPLEMENT ALL MY MODEL RESKINS TO WORK WITHOUT HAVING TO GO THROUGH THE ENTITY PROPERTIES MENU. THE CFG FILE WAS MADE TODAY ASWELL. I HAVE CREATED A TRANSITION IN THE EOAHREDUX MAP TO THE INTRO. I ALSO ADDED SOME SECRETS SO KEEP YOU EYES PEALED FOR THEM. I ADDED SOME SCREENSHOTS TO XFIRE BUT ITS NOT THE COMPLETE UP TO DATE VERSION OF THE MAP.

THIS IS MY FIRST BLOG OF THE MAP. THE MAP IS CURRENTLY IN PRE/ALMOST ALPHA STAGES. THE LAND SCAPE IS ALREADY IN PLACE. 2 DAYS AGO I ADDED MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT AN AI_SCRIPT, UNFORTUNATELY CUASE MY PC SUCK AND RAN OUT OF MEMORY, PLUS SVEN GOT SCREWED UP, I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO TEST IT. THOUGH I HAVE MODE SOME MODIFICATIONS SINCE. THE MAP WILL BE RAINY, I LOOKED UP A TUTORIAL ON TWHL TODAY TO FIGURE IT OUT. ALSO I HAD TO REFORMAT AND REINSTALL WINDOWS, O SO MUCH FUN. YESTERDAY I RESKINED A BUNCH OF MODELS TO FIT THE THEME OF THE MAP, AND CREATED A GLOBAL TXT FILE THAT WILL FORCE ALL THESE MODELS IN THE MAP SO I DON'T HAVE TO MODIFY IT THROUGH THE ENTITY. MAPPERS KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. I'LL POST SCREEN SHOTS WHEN I GET A CHANCE.
