A much better day.. I was busy from the moment I woke up (on time again) to now. So, I basically have a lot to say today, but I'm not gonna do that as I'm tired & sleepy. In summary, I worked in Photoshop in the morning. Went with Bharath to meet Abi by noon. Majid was late & so I had to hurry back, thus forgetting to collect my thumbdrive from him. I went to Adyar & joined the erodov meet just in time. We went to the beach, Zapak & finally a hotel in ECR Road. It was a decent trip & I basically managed to make new friends. Reached home after dinner & posted some of the tourney replays in Garena forums. I really have a lot to say, but I can't & don't want to type them all down. So, in hopes of yet another busy day, I leave you.. Good night..

Remember last night's predicament? Well, here is how it ended. I decided to watch television for a while & then go to sleep after posting that blog. Then, I thought about it. I've always believed that we can never succeed by doing the same thing again & again. Twice I failed to wake up and this time, I had to do something different. So, I decided to sleep in the computer room & use the old Computer Alarm. Basically, when its time, the computer will play a song of my choosing in high volume. And it worked. I woke up to a superb song & was enthusiastic about the day..

But still, I didn't do much in the morning. Later on, I finished my college assign. I went through a photoshop tutorial and based on that, created a signature and added it to Garena forums. That's basically it. I heard from Kaushik that the shop from where I was hoping to get my Sennheiser from, was hopeless. None-the-less, I shall try that shop & if they don't have it, I'll have to start my hunt for a shop. And, finally, I've planned to meet Majid & Abi by noon and join the erodov meet by evening. I better wake up on time again. MP3 Alarm FTW!

Trust me, there is nothing to say about today.. So, I'll mention yesterday first.. :p I didn't post any blog last night because, I went to sleep only at 6am today morning.. :s I was just watching TV.. And I woke up at 4 or 5pm..

So, there you have it. The first para basically summed up my day. Once I got up, I browsed, played a few games and browsed some more. But there is one thing that I managed to do today. I decided on which headphone to buy. I've been pondering on this question for 2 days now. I think I finally got my answer. I'm planning to get Sennheiser PC 166. And the best part is that, Praveen reminded me of a shop in Chennai & I think it may have the headphone. So, once I get my salary, I'll buy it. Nothing more to add. I just hope that I can fall asleep right now. I've been awake for just 7 hours..

Weird how the time flies.. I mean, I've just finished one full day but I don't remember what I did today.. I returned home for lunch and then, spent some time browsing. Visited Zion after that as I had planned to take Praveen to visit Majid. But unfortunately, that plan flopped & so, I returned home by night. My parents left to Bangalore & so, I'm left alone till the weekend. Had an online conference late night with Bharath & Majid. Its confirmed that both of us will receive 10k but don't know when. Nothing much to add.. I'm really sleepy & I do hope that I wake up in the morning since my parents aren't there to wake me up.. :-s Good night..

I expected some trouble in college today since I didn't attend it for long. But, my department never seizes to surprise me. Not only did we not get into trouble, nothing much really happened in the 20 days that we missed. And people are sarcastic about my department. It is times like these when I'm re-assured that I made the right choice in choosing this course. Anywayz, will continue at attend classes like a good kid for a while as we don't have more than a week or 2 of college left.

Besides that, we got back to some DotA action today in Zion (though Maxi couldn't make it thanks to his exams). After that, there were a lot of feedbacks about the imbagamer tourney in the Garena forums. Looks like the event is a huge success. Sadly, I couldn't play my part properly. I should've trusted my department to not give any problems & stayed in Hyderabad for another day to get the replays & stuff & post them. Anyway, I've planned to meet Majid & Guru tomorrow along with Praveen to discuss the future of the organisation & our roles in it. So, you can expect something good in tomorrow's blog..

I obviously couldn't blog again for a while since I went to Hyderabad with my team for the Grand Finals of the ImbaGamer DotA Cup 2008. It was the best DotA tournament in India, nuff said. We came 7th after losing to COB (who came 2nd) and L4i (who were 5th since they beat us). We were pwning COB at the start, but they outfarmed us later. It was a very close match against L4i but a few mistakes cost us dearly & we lost. But this was our first decent show in a LAN Tournament & so, we are pretty much satisfied.

We just reached Chennai at 10.30 in the morning & while a few spent the whole day sleeping, I tried to post updates about the event on the net since I was appointed by GoLive to do just that. But unfortunately, their site isn't up yet & so, I couldn't do much. I posted the results in the forums & tried hard to get the Matches-Table & the replays, but I wasn't backed by the people in Hyderabad. Moving ahead, have to get back in touch with the college life as I missed more than half a month of college. Will post tomorrow with more updates from college.. Good night..

Spent the whole day in DotA.. That is correct.. We planned to go to Zion at 10 in the morning. But as usual, we were late. But still, we did go and we did play. Later, we dispersed for lunch & again played in the evening. Played against PG again & lost.

The team's morale is rather on a low. Haven't had a good game since we returned from Hyderabad. Hopefully, that will change in the coming few days. And, I spoke with Ganesh anna today. He promised of a return to the team, as usual. Anyway, I'm eager to play more. I'll make a few calls tomorrow & try to arrange some proper matches. Looking forward to yet another day in DotA..

Oh man!! Its been a while since I blogged. The last time I blogged, I was in Chennai. Just reached Chennai again, so, blogging again.. :p

It was fun in Hyderabad. I'm not exactly in the best of health right now. So, I'll keep this short. Everything is normal & fine.. :p Got to go.. Busy day ahead..

After some stupid sessions at college, we approached the faculty adviser yet again for the OD grant. And, we managed to convince him & also get confirmations from the HoD, once again. So, we are going to Hyderabad on OD. That being solved, I concentrated on some GoLive work. And we easily won our last match of Stage 2 of the tourney. So, we are completely free to go to Hyderabad.

The tickets have been booked for the train at 4.45pm, so, don't expect a blog for the coming night. I will try to blog the night after, if I find time in Hyderabad. Looking forward to another interesting experience/adventure. Bye bye college & hello GoLive..

Weird people in my college. Me & Bharath applied for an OD for 20 days & it got granted. After reaching home, we got a call from our faculty adviser that he is canceling the grant. I mean, what the fudge? They are not sure about what to do when faced with such an request. Really weird people. Bharath has said that he'll speak with them again. But not sure whether it'll work. But either ways, we are going to Hyderabad as soon as possible & that is final.

Other than that, we had our second tourney match today. It was a walk in the park, but still, the fact that we can't afford to lose it made us a little wary. Other than that, I'm still thinking about buying a mice. I realized today that though I like a heavy mice like the MX 518, the smaller mice are better suited for my hands. Anyway, coming back to the plan to Hyderabad, our final match has been preponed to 23rd since we've to leave to Hyderabad asap. So, the plan right now, is to leave on the very next day. If there is no change in this plan, then, we'll book the tickets by noon. Lots of decisions to make, so, I better go to sleep now.. :p
