Wait... no games played?
What the fuck? Gamov lives off gaming, that is just not possible!!!
Well, sadly, it is possible and not because i decided to get a life.
It has been a week and 2 days since my
ASUS M2N32-SLI Premium Vista Edition motherboard commited suice during night while i was asleep.
In concequence, my PC wont work. wich means i cant game cause the laptop i am writting this blog on is a piece of crap. Even Counter Strike 1.6 runs bad on this thing.
So, what am i going to do, you ask?
I will, obviously, get a new motherboard, processor and RAM.
What am i getting?
Well, i wont be getting the most powerful CPU and the ultimate Motherboard, but what im planning on getting is quite good in my opinion:
Future rig:Motherboard:
ASUS M4A785TD-V EVOCPU:
AMD PHENOM II 945 X4 (Quad core, 8MB cache, 3.0 GHz)
RAM: some cheap DDR3
Compared to my current rig, my new Mobo and CPU will be kick ass.
Current rig:Motherboard:
ASUS M2N32-SLI Premium Vista EditionCPU:
AMD Athlon 64 X2RAM: some cheap DDR2
Also, i was planning on getting a new GPU.
Because, lets be honest, i totally wasted my money when i got the
NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT, even if it was a major upgrade from my old
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE, it wasnt worthed. I now facepalm each time i think that i couldve gotten a way better
NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+ for not much more extra money.
Im looking fordward to getting a sexy
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250.
Oh, wait. i also have to pay for my other PC parts!
Wich is not good since other two extra expenses came together at the same time.
My budget got hit hard this month so i have two choices:
1) Get the mobo + CPU + DDR3 and forget about a new GPU for now
2) Get the mobo + CPU + DDR3 and a 'transition' GPU like an
ATI Radeon HD5750, wich is capable of running games like TF2 at decent FPS while i save money for the
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250.
But, i mentioned that two other extra expenses came together at the same time my PC died, and those other two extra expenses come first, so my PC will have to wait like a month or so.
Everything points out that i wont be gaming in at least a month, but i have a plan B.
I will put my current GPU in my dad's desktop!
His desktop sucks, but hopefully i will be able to game on low settings.
EDITMy dad's desktop is older than i tought, i cant plug my GPU in it.
