Well I've finally got round to watercooling my PC and I'm rather happy with the results
Just the CPU so far but the next project will be the graphics card and northbridge.

OK for what it's worth here's my top 3 games of 2007.

1) Mass Effect - Pure brilliance and a shock number one for me! Loved the storyline and cinematic feel to it.

2) Bioshock - I thought this would have been my number one but ME pipped it. Still it's immersive and fantastic through and through and was well worth the wait.

3) Stalker - Still playing it and still loving it. Great AI, massive, immersive world, yes it's buggy but still an amazing game.

Other notable mentions I thoroughly enjoyed were Halo 3 (mindless fun), Portal (best ending to any game ever) and HL 2 Ep 2 (more of the same but the same is good).

Well my trusty G7 is on it's way out, the scroll wheel and DPI buttons aren't working properly. That will teach me to bang it on the desk in a drunken fit of temper when playing CS-S badly 0_o

Thinking of getting a Razer DeathAdder for a change, roll on pay-day.

Call me sad (you wouldn't be the first) but as I'm not working today I'm sat at home scouring the Quake Wars official forums trying to work out exactly when the beta keys are going to be released via Fileplanet (should be some today).

I've even got a 15" monitor set up dedicated to refreshing the Fileplanet main page every 30 seconds so I don't miss it. Knowing my luck they'll be released when I'm asleep - oh well fingers crossed.

EDIT: Hoorah I got a key and bloody good fun it is too! Will report back more details as I get used to the gameplay.

Inspired by Tron (sort of) I've been mucking around with some UV lights and spiral wire. Also used a Dremel to drill a hole in the front panel so I can plug the headphones in without opening it.

Before you say it yes I am still using an old Chieftec Dragon case (Infinity Silver I'll have you know :p) and I can't fault it after all these years!

Well it arrived today and I have to say I'm impressed (better than the demo). It's not as action packed as the likes of PGR3 but it's a hell of a lot more realistic and the amount of options available to customize your ride are staggering!

This gaming drought is getting me down - besides Stalker there's not much worth mentioning in the world of FPS.
