WoW: My Character and My Computer
2008-07-02 11:53 PM PDT
I just recently began playing World of Warcraft. I haven't bought the Burning Crusade yet, but more than likely I will be grabbing a copy as soon as I get my next paycheck. [Note: I am also anticipating the Wrath of the Lich King. Looks like it'll be another great expansion!]

Before last month, I would have never touched WoW. Why? Because I was strictly a console gamer [I play Xbox360] and I'm a girl that had no experience with MMORPG's on the PC. I had only played Shogun Total War and The Sims up to that point. But I completely am in love with RPGs.

I downloaded the trial version of WoW and immediately felt immersed in the RPG realm [sorry, no PvP for me!]. And that's where my main character, Thorgovon began. I am a part of the Horde, and Thorgovon is a Tauren. Did I pick a female Tauren? No. I preferred the buff, bulky male Tauren. At the time of this posting, I am a level 10, so yes, I am pretty much a complete noob... but hey, getting six levels up in about nine hours of official play is still pretty cool. I was only a four when my trial ran out.

I know everyone, or whoever comes across my profile, is probably laughing their ass off at my computer stats. I can only play WoW on the family computer at the moment, at least until I can get my own computer with more RAM and hopefully better hardware. So continue to laugh. My computer is shameful. -_-
