My Gaming Rig R.I.P Feb '05-June '07

As of Friday my gaming rig was pronounced officaly Fucked.
Following a powercut in Andover, Hampshire last week, my PC decided not to do anything when the power button was pushed. So while trying to rectify the problem I did something ridiculously stupid by accident, which is so bad that I'm not going to mention it here.
So I ordered another PSU, wired it up etc, flicked its power switch, everythings looking good, mobo lights etc, pressed the the main power button and- FZZT. Yeah the PSU sparked out.
So I ordered another one on the grounds that I would need one anyway. So I got my neighbour in whos a bit better at this kind of thing than myself, we tried to see if we could get my HDD to boot on any machine. Well it refused to do that, not even as the slave, the master or even on its own. So yeah thats probably fucked then.
Finding out that the HDD was fucked lead us to believe that the worse had probably happened. One of the fuck-ups had surged through the rest of the pc and fucked everything else.
So we decided to try and save my 6600GT as it was the most expensive piece of kit. Luckily that still works, however its probably actually worth nothing, being 19months old and well used doesn't help.
Didnt check the RAM as its not compatible with the machine we were working with.
So now I need a minimum of £700 quid, to add to what in my bank to start my baby.
I now direct you to the gaming rig section of my profile...
