Just saw the new web-series Warner Brothers put together from the 'realistic' trailer they released for Mortal Kombat.


I would have to say I authentically hate this.


I thought it was defacing enough when they proposed that trailer for the film and that people thought it actually looked good. But the fact that this is still continuing just irritates me. Flocks of people will see this and believe this is what Mortal Kombat is, not the unrealistic fantasy universe that it is.

I think there is one of two problems at work here; 1: People are incapable of making an accurate depiction of something and can only make re-imaginings. OR 2: People are fixated on grounding everything in reality so much that they cannot enjoy unrealistic things.

Either way, this isn't MK and if you like this more than real MK; you are not a real MK fan.
