Misadventures of Tigereye part 1
2010-07-10 9:35 PM PDT
Well, There was a time a few months ago, I decided to play Ragnarok Online... on a "special server." I had fun exploring different job classes and their abilities before I started playing.
I've decided to train as a Knight next to my brother, who decided to be a Soul Linker. Sure the leveling up in the beginning was easy. After a while I became strong enough to begin a quest to get pet. I was full on ready for a simple boss fight. That is, until some nut-job comes in out of nowhere and begins fighting the boss monster as well, utterly screwing up my chances for the quest! I could take down that thing down no problem. Usually I wouldn't be angered in this situation but this is was a one-time-only quest for newbie players; therefor, I got SQUAT. Alas I had to move on to the next area and choose a class.
The test of a swordsman was simply to cross the obstacle course within the time limit. Sure, the run was easy, I guess. Only thing that stopped me was the dang flies knocked me off the thin platforms, sending me back to the starting points. After a while I finally made it within the time limit, thus granting me the well wanted Swordsman class.
Once me and Eron, my brother, had our jobs, we stocked up on items and left Prontera to God-knows-what. In our travel we ran into slime, bugs, and some wolves. Was no problem with our team work. Eventually, we came across a cave near Payon Village. It was late so we called it a day and decided to explore the cave the following day since it was getting late.
The next day, we mingled around the town, asking about the cave and stumbled upon an interesting rumor. The cave is suppose to be filled with undead warriors. Why were they there? Suddenly, I decided to make that place my new hunting ground for experience. Being a newbie and all, I thought surely I can learn a thing or two from the dead people. I mean They're full of experience for crying out loud! Eron tried to convince me of a different location, but I guess he failed after a 15 min argument. Thus we...

S4 Players bring me boredom...
2009-05-06 4:35 PM PDT
Well i've been playing S4 for a long time now. I've taken a few breaks for a few months. When I came back to playing S4, I've kinda felt renewed as I constantly smacked players around the arena. But time kinda flew by and I've lost interest on how players kill me in the arena. They've developed cheap tactics as jumping walls, running along rails were others cannot reach them and when they finally face you, they group up spamming the same move over and over. I use to laugh every time i was killed or rung out of the field. Now... they've worn it out and bored me. When I enter the maps i rarely see any new styles of fighting, just the same strategies over and over and over. When i announce this to them, they tell me to stop playing if the game is boring me so much. But the game is not what I am bored of. It's the players that I face who bore me. Thy lack creativity, they use the same strategy over and over again, they use retarded jargons and use them in the wrong way. Egotistical maniacs who can't really take blame for their own actions but love to pin it on others when it is they who could have done more as well. They search for scapegoats so they dun feel as crappy as they really are. I really dun take the game seriously, I really don't. But they usually bore me to death with their lack of creativity. They really dun have any honor either. When some declare a one on one match (as I'm usually up for), their team mates jump in as soon as the other is losing. I could go on but I'd be rambling. So i end this message as this: The game it self it fun to play. but the PLAYERS bore me to death...
