Time to head to the corner Greek market, whenever we walk into the place they look at us like we’re about to hold up the place. I’ve never seen someone question the validity of a 5 dollar note before. Oh well, maybe we have tester smell on us.

Xfire QA - A Bug found and reported!

Mood: Less Malicious.
Bug Summary: With XIG 2.0 enabled on Age of Empires III, XIG does not appear.
Bug: After adding ENABLE_MOUSE to the game.ini for Age of Empires III, and Scroll Lock X is used to display XIG 2.0, XIG 2.0 does not appear.
Note: After the user attempts to show XIG 2.0 with Scroll Lock X, the mouse cursor does switch to the xfire cursor indicating that it might be a drawing issue.
OK, moving on 2 more QA guys showed up, and the game support person is spinning in the chair next to me… is it Friday yet?

Sure we’ll have to sacrifice a few people, but what’s new. I just hope that they’re the slow zombies, not the newer faster zombies.

Xfire QA - It’s way too early!

My name is Marcel, and I am the QA Lead here at Xfire. I have just arrived at work, stairs, door, alarm, door, door, door, fridge, coke, and door. Boring, I know.
Since the QA group tends go home at around 6PM or 6:30PM and the dev’s stick around ‘til 7PM or 8PM, there is always a surprise waiting in the morning. This morning, the Keyboard is out of whack again. The Dev that made the changes will only be in at 11AM, so it’s research time. Hmm… alone at work, time to work on the Zombie Attack Escape Plan… research can wait 20 minutes.
