got a package in today, my brand new CPU, RAM and Case Fan. but no sign of my motherboard.. turns out it went out of stock a few days before the bank(FINALLY) made the wire transfer(only way for international orders to be done) so that pisses me off pretty bad. especially since Space Marine released an early Demo for those who got it on PC which is a real bummer i have to miss out on. but its not the end of the world, hopefully it will get shipped within 2 weeks and than it'll take like 5days to get here. cant wait to play Space Marine, BFBC2 and all my other games again!

i dont usually do blogs.. but since my computer isn't doing shit right now this is the only way to get the word out(not liek anyone would care..) but anywhoo, GETTING A NEW COMPUTER! well not a whole new computer but some parts but eventually it'll lead up to being a brand new computer. made the order yesterday for my all new:
-ASUSP8P67 Pro REV 3 Intel P67 LGA1155 Motherboard
-Intel Core i7-2600K 2nd Gen. 3.4Ghz Unlocked LGA1155 CPU
-Corsair High Perform Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz2x4

and a Cooler master case fan for on the side to get some extra airflow going inside that furnace. though they arent a lot of parts it still came up to $600.. and im still planning on getting a new Video card aswell, but that i'll get later right now these are the parts that really need replacing. hopefully now ill be able to enjoy my games once more with even more speed and smoothness without hiccups and crashing. might still be a week or 2 till my package arrives here but it'll be worth the wait!

and so it happens! finally my last box arrived after days of waiting. got the box looked in side everything seems to be as it should not a problem!

now all thats left is to get my friend over here so we can start putting it together an test this bad boy out. when its up an running first thing to test it out will probably be crysis warhead haha i mean cmon we all know thats what the game is REALLY for ;]

i also got my PickYourPoison free game coupon an am currently downloading resident Evil 5 its gonna take awhile isnce internet is slow as poop here its only downloading at 130KB/s an it cant go higher so yea but all good ill just let it go over night an im downloading it to my external so i can install it on the new one of course.

i also managed to get my hands on a normal Windos 7 not sure if its 32 or 64-bit though probably is 32 but thats all right ill just stick with 3,2gb for now an later buy the 64-bit to make use of my full 4gb an maybe even upgrade to 8gb by then. if i have the money too that is haha. well thats bout it will update when we have it up or running will also make a Xfire video an bunch of screen shots on the first game play of Crysis warhead with my new rig.

well my case arrived a few days ago an i took a look at it an its awesome! though i am scared that the GTX260 might not fit or that its gnna be a tight squeeze but we'll see when it arrives. that is IF it arrives.. its been a while now an i still havents gotten it an i should have already. even tigerdirect send me a e-mail saying that all my products should have arrived by now and the UPS site says that it has been delivered but it hasnt which has got me worried.. i can forget it coming Sunday since they'll be closed but i really hope they bring it to me Monday or im going to my local UPS office to ask whats going on.
but that aside.. if unpacked my new monitor an its AWESOME im using it right now an its much much better then first nice big Res at 1440x900 and its much much sharper then my old screen its great! but ill wait a few weeks before submitting a review about it on TiderDirect.com. it was suppose to be just a test to see wat its like but im thinking of just leaving it cus i like it that much an dont want to use my old one anymore haha.

today my first package arrived.. THE 19" ACER MONITOR! WHOOO... yea haha it was very exciting it looks SO fucking awesome an its nice an wide very sleak, has a DVI and VGA port but ill only be using the DVI port. when i was tracking it on the UPS site it already said that it was cleared and on its way 2 days ago and today they called my mom and asked where they should deliver it and within minutes they were there to hand my mom it. she said there werent any problems even though they spelled her last name wrong but it was all good. unboxed it about 10mins ago it was in MINT condition the box was also handles very good by the looks of it. i must say i had my doubt but UPS really..delivered.. get it? delivered? cus they deli.. yea nvm.. anyhoo. u can really trust them, i know i do they did a perfect job.
now to wait for the 2 other boxes containing my computer case and its organs hehe.

i got a e-mail yesterday saying my order was shipped and was on its way! now its time to wait.. an PRAY that all the parts arrive and in one piece. not sure yet how im gonna puti t tegether i might get someone to help me esepcially for the CPU but the rest ill be able to do myself.

it has come to my atention that what iv put together isnt all that good. sure its much better then what iv had for a long time.. but its still not GOOD. iv managed to put together a new computer, every part individually an it is better but it also costs more.. here wat iv put together:

-MSI NF750-G55 Motherboard

the one thing i like most about this new set is that the MOBO has 2 PCIex16 slots so that means i can have the GTX260 AND my old 8800GT as dedicated PhysX! thats what i was going for at first but i couldnt find any good computer with a reasonable price and 2 PCIex16 slots.. all were around if not above $700 and that was without the gtx 260, monitor and usually didnt come with a HDD or DVD drive or both so that was out of my budget range.. but this is still manageable, it comes out aat $885 an with shipping an all that jazz so id say around $900 which is doable.. might have to work overtime but it be well worth it haha. tomorrow im gonna go talk to my teacher since he orders things all the time from Tigerdirect.com an he'll help me he also knows a lot about computers so this will be perfect. dont think my mom will agree on this dicision but oh well its gonna be mine so yea. im not all to happy about the prices of the parts, especially the price of the ram since its $115 thats total bullshit. for a quad core $145 a very good price but the ram is over priced if u ask me. the case is good has good reviews an is only $40 same as the power supply. all around i think its a good price for a good computer.

also i managed to track down the BFG GTX 275 OC2 i wanted that was sold out on TD an its even cheaper! the thing is that its on another site.. so im gonna have to talk to my teacher about that to see if thats an option....

Time for a new computer! yes finally im going to upgrade to a new computer. far to long have i stressed over having not being able to play games properly with that crappy computer. it died on me a few days ago which was perfect timing since i had found an put together a new computer on Tigerdirect.com an Monday i will order it! the barebone, video card and monitor together come out at $830 which isnt bad, ill be paying for it myself of course an that means that it will be MY computer so that no one can bother me asking if they can get on or such no! it'll be all to myself only if REALLY needed i might let someone else on.
an of course its gonna be for gaming! thats why its gonna be pretty fast an i think these specs show that:

At first i was going to get it with the BFG GTX275 overclocked but sadly it was sold out last friday.. but yea the GTX260 is the next best(an cheapist) thing an will be more then enough to power the games i want backed up by a quad core an 4gb of ram it'll run all games i throw at it with ease. ill be getting a new monitor too a 19" acer widescreen which will make the games look ever prettier! gonna be using windows 7 too i hope i can get 64-bit so i can later add another pair of crosair 4gb ram for a total of 8gb! right now im forced to use a simple laptop whilei wait.. which i will have to do some more of being i live in the Caribbean so it could take over 2 weeks before my computer arrives but the wait will be worth it just in time for Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Episodes for liberty city on PC.
