Pazy: Do any of you drink weird space smoothies for energy while in tourneys?
dignitasapollo: lol not from home, at lans, I like to drink energy drinks

Metalon: Nothing else than a good bottle of coke

^ĐŗåģōʼnҐϊŕĕ: How did you guys come involved with sponsorship? knolz: Yes, my team globalteam.esports has some sponsor for C&C3 crew.
Colonel Tempest: do you guys earn enough money playing competitively to live off? dignitasapollo: No, not from cnc3. I have gained about $8000 from playing cnc3 over the past 6months which isn’t enough to live off. Gaming outside of Korea is not a well paid job. With the rise of the championship gaming series and the increase in the media, hopefully professional gamers will be spread across the world
knolz: Oh no. There are only few players who can live with the money they earn in gaming, so it's too difficult for a new game like CC3.
^}
^ĐŗåģōʼnҐϊŕĕ: How did you guys come involved with sponsorship? dignitasapollo: I got noticed about 7months ago when I won a couple of live tournaments, I was later approached to join dignitas. Being a part of this team makes life a lot easier with money and travelling.
^}
^ĐŗåģōʼnҐϊŕĕ: Do you think Professional gamers will get paid better in the future? knolz: yes of course.
dignitasapollo: Yes, gaming is becoming huge!
[Xfire] Artaxs: Are you guys planning on playing Starcraft 2? What's your favourite race from the original Starcraft? dignitasapollo: Yea I will be playing it =) Terran for me atm
Ex1le: Do you spend time studying strategies? Metalon: Yeah I use a lot of time with my friends to discover new strategies and building orders.
Colonel Tempest: do you feel that c&c3 lived up to your expectationsdackelcc: Regarding the game itself, I had expected a better game. Regarding the C&C3 events and everything around the game, I am satisfied
Metalon: Same as dackelcc.
Team Stealth | тєн0ωηαgє: what’s your favourite team, GDI, Nod or Scrin? knolz: Scrin, but i will play all the team after the Xfire Trophy.
radu12345: Did you ever consider the fact that you could have done something far better than training yourself in C&C 3, or do you think you had nothing better to do? dignitasapollo: I am an RTS player, this is what I like doing and getting a bit of money from playing is never a bad thing =)
Ex1le: Do you think that the Scrin are over powered? knolz: Scrin is easier to play for new player, but a good gdi or nod player could easily beat a good scrin player
Metalon: No the game is pretty balanced atm in my opinion. We are seeing high skilled players use all the 3 factions.
Pazy: Do you ever see College courses on competitive game playing? dignitasapollo: I haven’t seen it, I am studying Media and game design which is close

Metalon: Haha, i have no idea, but it would be awesome^^
^}
^ĐŗåģōʼnҐϊŕĕ: Appolo, you said you train about 10 hours a week, are you involved with anything like college and if so, how can you combine this? dignitasapollo: Well like I said, this is before major tournaments to get myself into gear ready to do well. I am in college at the moment, but when a tournament comes up like the World Cyber games, I take a week or two weeks off before to practice for these 10hours. Normally with college, I play for about an hour or two after I come home
radu12345: Where do you see yourself standing in the next 2 or more years of C&C 3 gaming? dignitasapollo: I don’t think I will be playing this game for much longer, cnc3 in e-sports will die soon as its not really a spectator sport unfortunately. I will probably stay around for the EA ladder season.
^}
^ĐŗåģōʼnҐϊŕĕ: Will you stop CNC3 competitively when Starcraft 2 releases? dignitasapollo: Yes, I will then play SC2
dackelcc: I will pretty much stop gaming after WCG, as I graduate from high school next year and then need to concentrate on school.
radu12345: Where do you see yourself standing in the next 2 or more years of C&C 3 gaming? Metalon: Well I don’t think I’ll still be playing c&c3 in 2 years, but I’m pretty sure I’ll play another RTS on a high level.
Ex1le: Do you think that EA has failed when it comes to creating a community to support this game and keep it going over the years? Metalon: I think EA done a pretty good job on this game actually. Only thing I’d like to see is faster patches.
dignitasapollo: They haven’t failed, the game did. They supported it well, cnc3 tv, prize money, wcg but the game was a fault at design which is extremely hard to change over patches
Team Stealth | тєн0ωηαgє: do you prefer to rush, or to tacticdignitasapollo: Depends on who I play against, different players have different weaknesses
Metalon: Both, depending on who I’m playing against and what faction they use.
^}
^ĐŗåģōʼnҐϊŕĕ: Will you ever start gaming again after college? dignitasapollo: I will play while I am in college
dignitasapollo: and I will continue to play afterwards, yes
Ex1le: Do you plan on attending a specialized college for computer related courses?...or one that is more generaldignitasapollo: I am currently studying, ITP and Computer game design, which is related, its pretty cool course.
Metalon: One that is more general i think.
Team Stealth | тєн0ωηαgє: I heard that GDI > Nod, Nod > Scrin, Scrin > GDI, do you think this is true? knolz: On a low level yes, not on a good level. I think all the factions are on the same level.
^}
^ĐŗåģōʼnҐϊŕĕ: Do you think team Dignitas will make success with Starcraft 2 in Korea ? dignitasapollo: Well, dignitas is more based around FPS games like css and cod2, the rts section is new this year. Hopefully, we can be good at sc2 and attend many events, I do not think that any1 will be on the same level as Koreans, its their natural talent and with the time and money they are given, they are just fantastic gamers.
Ex1le: If you had to pick a race to play as for the rest of your gaming career with CnC3...what would it be? knolz: Nod
Metalon: Scrin
dackelcc: GDI, of course.
radu12345: After you finish college, will you still play online games competitively, or will you have another type of job? dignitasapollo: Its a hard choice for any gamer, you love playing games but working

sucks. I would love to become a professionally paid gamer where I wouldn’t have to worry about money and finding a job
Metalon: Think I’m gonna try to do both - time will show.
radu12345: After you finish college, will you still play online games competitively, or will you have another type of job? knolz: Gaming is not a job for me, specially in France. So i will get a "real" job, and continue to play games
Fallen Angel: who’s better ninjas or pirates? Metalon: NINJAS
if you could be one unit from c&c who would you be? dignitasapollo: The scrin mastermind because I could teleport and mind control any1 =)
Fallen Angel: what is this "real job" you speak of? knolz: I'm doing studies in IT, so I would be a programmer (not a pro-gamer

)
^}
^ĐŗåģōʼnҐϊŕĕ: What do you think about paying a subscription for Quickmatch as for example microsoft is asking for a game such as Universe at War? dignitasapollo: ROFL - that’s what I think
Fallen Angel: would you consider your devotion to c&c a Obsession? dignitasapollo: No, it depends what you personally define an "Obsession"
knolz: No, I think it's competition who motivate me.
Ex1le: Will you play Universe at War when it comes out? dackelcc: no.
dignitasapollo: Don't think so, not paying to play a game online
Metalon: Think I’m gonna try it but don’t know if I’m gonna play it competitive or not. Pretty much depends on the support it’s gonna get.
radu12345: Moving on to a little developer section, which do you think was the hardest to create for the developer team? GDI, Nod, or Scrin? dignitasapollo: Scrin because its new
CaLiLaTiN: Whats better a Keyboard or Controller to play? dackelcc: For RTS, Keyboards are better to play with.
dignitasapollo: Classic mouse and keyboard is always best =)
radu12345: What would happen if all of you masters were in a match against an outsanding opposing team, what would you do? How would you react, what would you do? dignitasapollo: A 4v4 vs another 4players? We would smash

Knolz and metalon at the back and me and dackel smashing through every1
knolz: ahah
radu12345: Are you planning on moving to developing games in the future, since you've had pretty much experience with games? dignitasapollo: Yes, I will work in the industry around games, either developing games or making "e-sports" bigger and better
CaLiLaTiN: How many hours do you think you have played Command and Conquer 3? Metalon: Way too many.

dackelcc: I can't really estimate the number of hours. Unfortunately, I didn't use Xfire...
^}
^ĐŗåģōʼnҐϊŕĕ: With all your gaming experience, what are current developers doing wrong in terms of gameplay? dignitasapollo: They are not turning to professional gamers for help, they asked them in the beta stages of cnc3, but it still turned out bad in turns of gameplay? They obviously asked the wrong people. Look at sc2, they have professional Koreans testing and playing it now to make the game as good as the pre-sequel
Team Stealth | тєн0ωηαgє: do you think you have cracked all of the cnc3 strats? dignitasapollo: No, there are new strats every week
Tosh- True Halo FAN!: Does listening to music help you concentrate while playing? knolz: Not for me.
Metalon: Yeah, i listen to music all the time while im playing.
dignitasapollo: Not for me, I like to listen 2 music when relaxing and messing around but when in a competition, I must concentrate and hear all sounds that the game offers, such as "unit spotted" etc. you miss these if you have music on
dignitasapollo: thx for turning up, was cool answering
