For the first edition of the Xfire Academy, we welcome TEK9, a team many observers consider the best in the world since their performance at the WCG in 2007. In an intense chat session where our users bombed them with questions, the 5 members of TEK9 answered every one of them before proving their point to three lucky users who got to practive live with the pros !

kammyz: - I just dont think about it that much.
KageBushin (dohdongpah): Tek9, do you train you reflexes before starting a game or do any finger training.
tek9 Networks Davy (davyyy): Before a game I just play some deathmatch to get warmed up. It's not specially to train your reflexes but to get in shape before the start of the match.
tek9 OZWALD (ozwaldg): I personally play CS 1.6 a bit, just to warmup. No need for special training or anything similar

kammyz: - gameplay, most weapons are balanced atleast with i33 rules.
Also loving the fact that the sniper isnt as easy as it was in CoD2

tek9 Networks Davy (davyyy): Usually players that sit in corners for no use all the time. Or teams that use 3 or more smg's. It becomes more of a spray&pray game then. Hardly any brains involved.

tek9 Networks Davy (davyyy): Usually during an important match you're so concentrated on the game that you forget about all the people watching you and you dont get nervous.
Shen^^ (shenkao): How do you guys feel about the fact that CoD4 isnt on the WCG?
tek9 OZWALD (ozwaldg): I think WCG is reserved for national teams or something like that? So i doubt we would have been able to attend. Of course it would have been awesiome for WCG to pick cod4 though.

tek9strelok: Limit smg's to 2, remove exploding cars, decrease nade dmg, add more good maps

tek9 Networks Davy (davyyy): No, this is more of a hobby that allows me to travel the world and earn a bit of pocketmoney :p

tek9 OZWALD (ozwaldg): Depends if what he does stick to the final foal of the "battle plan", if not I make sure he does what he's supposed to do... And at lan i slap them in the face to make sure they remember the lesson.

tek9 Networks Davy (davyyy): It's amazing tbh. It's probably the main reason why I still do it.
Gamert|Extreme (extweem): Wich one of tek-9 configs is best to do you tricks like pallet on crach??
tek9 OZWALD (ozwaldg): You need 250 FPS to do that trick jump... it might even work with 125, not sure though

kammyz: - I recommend both of these weapons, since everybody is using them why shouldn’t you? Its just a fact that both of them are fairly easy to master like I said before.. Weapon like M16 is harder to master, but equally effective in gameplay if you just practice enough with it

tek9 Networks Davy (davyyy): The more skill you have the less practise you need I'd say. Some people play the game a lot and that's how they get good. (mazarini)

kammyz: - No we don’t, there are maps where the sniper is not needed, at least with the current rulesets

tek9 OZWALD (ozwaldg): AK47 most of the time... Though m4 often does the work on long range too. Its just your personnal preferences in my opinion
OD-Nachos (odnachos): The gaming community, and FPS players in particular voice a particular dislike for moves such as 'dolphin diving' and 'bunny hoping'. Speaking from a pro perspective, what is Tek9's opinions on moves such as these and gamers that exploit these glitches in games?

tek9 Networks Davy (davyyy): TEK9 was started by a bunch of belgian gamers that wanted to go on their own. After a while DFB (the manager) got his first sponsors like steelseries and some powerball company. After a while the tek9 squads started to become the best in europe and that's how the TEK9 Networks brand got so big.

tek9 OZWALD (ozwaldg): I can't take it, I usually go sit in a corner and cry ignoring them.

kammyz: - R700 does more damage I think, with the awpfix its also just as accurate as M40

tek9 Networks Davy (davyyy): Yes we will have a public server soon. I used to play on the 9lives SD server sometimes with friends. But I dont play publics anymore. Atleast now often.
