OK, if I've gamed with you, chances are I've told you about it. I've been pestering Rogue about it for months, and I think HE finally got it...time to start pestering the rest of you.
This patch (well actually, it's a mod) modifies the game. It closes some of the gaping holes Pandemic left when they made the game while still allowing you to play online. It, for example, changes the Fetts' weapons and armor to look more like the movies. It also adds capes to the Magna Guards, makes the droids shiny, and gives new looks to the Clones. They are shiny, too. It adds a new texture and color to the lasers and sparks, and generally just all around...well, patches up the holes. Go to school, eat your vitamins, and get this mod. DO IT NOW!

It's a somewhat random, chaotic, and utterly awesome map. Here are the units. Just looking at their names gives you an idea, but it's an awesome map.

The map is the Realm of Chaos. It has upgraded vehicles, infinite force-jump and jetpack for certain units, awesome attacks, and an ultimate fast AT-AT. The gun heroes have some wicked weapons, and the Boeing bomb is all-powerful. If you get this mod, use Gun-Titans, Dann Boeing or The Seriously Evil Dude, use the Boeing Bomb, charge it all the way, and shoot it at a vehicle. Clear off and look.
I'd strongly recommend this map for any enthusiastic BF2'er who needs more motivation to keep playing. It's got awesome online multiplay, and I'll list the maps safe for online play.

I played it for the first time in a while recently. I've had it, but haven't been able to play it due to joystick incompatibilities, but I fixed that. It's a very good game. The Learning Center has lessons that you can read, and then fly them. The lessons are written by Rod Machado, an experienced pilot and teacher. The interactive lessons are extremely well done.
If you get this game, I'd also recommend that you also have a joystick. If you don't already have one, get one. It's a lot harder flying in an atmosphere with lift and drag than it is flying in space, for you Star Wars players, and possibly other games. You'll learn how to fly an airplane using instruments only, without using them at all...You can fly anything from an Aircreation Trike Ultralight to and Airbus to a helicopter. It has a variety of missions, all of varying levels. There's beginner, intermediate, advanced, and expert. You can do anything from give someone a ride to go flour bombing. All in all, a very good game that I'd recommend.
