Yup, I'm here in the OC (don't call it that), and can't wait for tomorrow-- it's badge pick-up day! You might think that sounds boring (and, well, it kind of does), but I'll be there anyway, talking to people who come pick up their badges and getting excited for Friday and Saturday.
And if talking with me piques your interest, then don't forget that you Xfire people have the chance to do exactly that-- I'm going to be live on Xfire with a few other WoW Insider bloggers, direct from Anaheim, tomorrow (Thursday 8/2) at 4pm Pacific. We can chat about what's coming at BlizzCon, my official predictions on the expansion, or just why Paladins are so lame.
(Their class is actually fine-- I just don't like them because they're all smarmy and holier-specced than thou)
So yes-- tomorrow, 8/2, 4pm Pacific, be there on Xfire to chat with WoW Insider live from the scene of BlizzCon 2007. Should be fun!

Anyways...the multi-talented Ian Beckman made a trailer for Xfire and BlizzCon which you can see on our BlizzCon Homepage.
BTW, if you are not subscribed to this blog, you should be. See the little RSS orange thingy on the left? You should click it!
Also, we still have about 40 slots open in the BlizzCon Guild on Xfire. Just go apply and we will get you in! First come first served!

Hey Xfire Blizzconners,
Yup, that tip on Saturday was that the VGL orchestra will be playing music entitled "Northrend" onstage at the finale concert, which almost assuredly means the next expansion is Northrend.
And I can't tell you exactly what happened, but trust me when I say that Blizzard has all but confirmed it-- they are not real happy that the news got out, which means it's probably true.
Meanwhile, I got another day-early exclusive for you guys:

Have you guys all friended this "blizzcon2007" account yet? I hear I'm going to get to chat with you live on Thursday, and from what I understand, all friends of this account will be invited. So get "blizzcon2007" on your friends list, stat!
I'm headed out to Anaheim tomorrow morning, and hopefully once I hit the ground, I'll be able to sneak over to the Convention Center and grab some more exclusives for you all-- see you at Blizzcon!

The BlizzCon schedule got leaked!
Blizzard's been keeping it under wraps (and who knows why), but it's found its way online, and there's going to be all kinds of fun stuff going on there:
* World of Warcraft and Starcraft II open gaming
* WoW, Warcraft III, and Starcraft tournaments
* An opening ceremony (where they'll announce a new game or expansion?)
* Panels on WoW classes, dungeons and raids, professions and items, and PvP
* A Starcraft II gameplay demo
* More panels on Warcraft Art, Blizzard Sound/Music, Careers in Gaming, Cinematics, Starcraft II Lore and Art, WoW UI mods, the TCG, and the Expanded Universe (likely the Warcraft novels)
Oh, and that whole concert thing: Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain, Video Games Live, and host Jay Mohr. For more info, hit up WoW Insider, as always.

Hey folks! Mike Schramm from WoW Insider here. I don't know about you all, but I can't wait for Blizzcon! (whoops, I was corrected earlier tonight-- officially, it's "BlizzCon". Sorry, Chris Metzen)
We at WoW Insider have lots of fun stuff planned, and you're going to be able to know all about it by sticking to Xfire. We're going to be hooking up with these guys for chats (so you can give me your own unfiltered opinion about what I said in the recent spec guide), and we'll be sharing lots of great coverage the whole time.
In the meantime, here's a few links to get you ready:
