I was starting to wonder if it was even possible to make a browser game that captured all the mechanics of a full blown client. I found one. Kungfu Online (
KUNGFU ONLINE). I got really turn off by the massive "EVONY" clones on the net. The 3D games (i.e. Fusion fall, Earth Eternal ), while 'fairly' good just did not do the trick.
KFO has it all. bank, massive crafting system, guilds, pvp, (not sure about raids yet),unique "talent" system (Meridan). It also incorporates a "bot" system, called AUTOPILOT.
At first I was a little turned off on this, thinking "...omg, another GODSWAR". However, this one does not offset the balance. For starters there really isn't much xp for killing mobs (called "creeps" in KFO). You will find the auto pilot useful for farming, and killing quest mob so you can afk if need be. After all it is a browser game, not a 3d game so there is nothing really to watch cept for the scrolling combat text - which I might add, if you read it, is a mini story in itself.
Movement in the game is very clean. You have a main map with the various locations and cities. Just click to move, there will be a few seconds of paus depending on the distance from you to where you are going. Once at your destination, they have what they call "scenes". Just a series of locations (dots) with "links" that will put you to other locations. Hovering your mouse over any one dot, will tell you what NPC (or creeps) are located at that position and double clicking will take you there.
Your quest log, too his helpful. for a price (entegy or silver) you can simply click on where you need to go from your quest log to the destination) another nice feature.
Currently I am at level 22, and am still flooded with quest. I have not found a story to this game, but the tasks that the NPC's have you do or not boring and there seems to bee something always going on.
If you are looking for a good SOLID clean, well designed MMORPG for the browser...
